The impact that he made on both ends of the floor in their matchup with GS was one of the main reasons why they were able to pull off the win. He was outstanding on the defensive of the floor, applying intense full-court pressure throughout the night which made things difficult for whoever he was guarding. There aren’t many players that can legit play all five positions on the court with success but that’s exactly what you will see from this young man on a consistent basis. He showed his ability to be a playmaker and did an outstanding job of getting his teammates involved but also stepped up to provide some buckets inside the paint when needed. He’s strong with impressive agility and brings a worker’s mindset every time we get the opportunity to see him play.
Rebounding, scoring from midrange and using his strength and athleticism are all things that we saw from him in their matchup with Northampton County. He didn’t force plays often but instead found his offense within the flow of the team concept. You love to see a player that is a team first guy and that is exactly what you will get from Powell.
