Thu., 12/29…St. Vincent-St. Mary (OH) at Archbishop Ryan: “The Chosen One's” alma mater has become a basketball juggernaut in Ohio. Tonight, they will take on perennial PCL title contender Archbishop Ryan. Of course, Ryan features the talents of dominant big man [player_tooltip player_id='1213553' first='Thomas' last='Sorber'] (20 DI offers). Sorber recently posted a 24 /16 / 11 (blocks) triple double. On the perimeter Ryan has significant college talent as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1202211' first='Michael' last='“Zaire” Paris'], [player_tooltip player_id='1192641' first='Darren' last='Williams'], [player_tooltip player_id='1477717' first='Rocco' last='Morabito'] and Ryan Everett are guards who will all play at the next level. Tip-off is at 6:00PM

Fri., 12/30…Friends Central vs. St. Joe's Prep: The FCS roster is stacked with college prospects. Wing Mushin Muhammad is a natural born scorer. Combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1173986' first='Fazl' last='Oshodi'] can get a bucket from anywhere on the floor. Shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1281940' first='Colin' last='Bowman'] is off to a hot start this season. Plus, transition scorer [player_tooltip player_id='1192647' first='Reid' last='Belcher'] must also be accounted for by opponents. For SJP, elite guard prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1197607' first='Jaron' last='McKie'] is coming off an astonishing 34-point performance. Combine McKie with classmate [player_tooltip player_id='1188621' first='Olin' last='Chamberlain'] and you get one of the top backcourts in the region. On the interior, [player_tooltip player_id='933048' first='Tristen' last='Guillouette'] (several DI offers) will give FCS all they can handle. Those three will get support from other college prospects like [player_tooltip player_id='1460800' first='Jordan' last='Ellerbee'], Matt Gorman, and [player_tooltip player_id='1459866' first='Christian' last='Dawley']. Tip-off is at 1:45PM at Widener Univ.

Fri., 12/30…Garnet Valley vs. Coatesville: This contest will be an intriguing clash of styles. Sophomore sensation [player_tooltip player_id='1460801' first='Jacob' last='Sniras'] and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1185982' first='Max' last='Koehler'] spearhead a GV squad that will not hesitate to launch from behind the arc. Continuous off ball movement and frequent pick action make GV difficult to guard on the perimeter. Meanwhile, Coatesville's electric backcourt of Zuri Harris and Dior Kennedy will get out on the beak and push the tempo. Also, for Coatesville, keep an eye on senior Jeremiah Marshall. He is a quality prospect college coaches are sleeping on. Tip-off is at 3:30PM at Widener Univ.

Fri., 12/30…Lower Merion vs. Chester: What more could hoops heads ask for in a late December non-conference game? The defending District 1-6A champion (LM) faces the defending District 1-5A title holder (Chester) in this much anticipated contest. LM features a multi-guard lineup that boats three level scoring machine [player_tooltip player_id='991391' first='Sam' last='Brown'] (Penn commit), floor general [player_tooltip player_id='1382972' first='Justin' last='Poles'] and shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1472576' first='Sam' last='Wright']. Chester will counter with their extraordinary duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1187903' first='Kyree' last='Womack'] and Terrence Cobb. Womack is one of the top 2024 scoring guards in the region. Cobb has been unstoppable of late – 23.6 ppg over his last three contests. Tip-off is at 6:15PM at Widener Univ.

Sat., 12/31…Malvern Prep at Cardinal O'Hara: MP has opened the 2022-23 season with a brutally difficult schedule. So dynamic combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='991421' first='Ryan' last='Williams'] (multiple DI offers) and multi-skilled wing [player_tooltip player_id='1379452' first='Andrew' last='Phillips'] are tried and tested. MP shooting guard Hayden Pegg (multiple DI football offers) provides wing scoring for the Friars. At O'Hara, this current squad may be the program's most talented group in years. The backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='1281811' first='Izaiah' last='Pasha'] (Iona commit) and [player_tooltip player_id='1187956' first='Aasim' last='Burton'] play at a next level pace. 6'7” shooter [player_tooltip player_id='1190330' first='Pearse' last='McGuinn'] as well as guard [player_tooltip player_id='933049' first='Josh' last='Coulanges'] provide lethal outside shooting. Other contributors will include talented prospects like [player_tooltip player_id='1589268' first='Carey' last='Cunningham'] and Miles Johnson. Tip-off is at 1:00PM.
