This game was pretty much all Dunbar from the jump as they beat Bryan Station 73 to 52. Bryan Station did a good job fighting back using their press but once Dunbar settled down they got easy baskets to finish the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='932783' first='Nick' last='Spalding'] proved he is one of the best Seniors in the state

Spalding did it all as he scored 20 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 3 assists. His shot from 3pt range wasn't falling tonight but got going by getting easy baskets at the rim and got to the mid-range. He was under constant pressure but always kept his composure and never seemed to get sped up. Did a good job playing and finishing thru contact. Loved how crafty he was around the rim finishing with either hand.

The supporting cast for Dunbar showed up big time

The supporting cast of Dunbar was really impressive. Max VanDyke led all scorers with 22 points going 4 for 6 from 3pt range. He made just about every open shot he had and was good finishing around the rim. [player_tooltip player_id='1065572' first='Cade' last='Hilt'] gave Dunbar a boost in the scoring column as well as he was great in transition and around the rim as he scored 17. Mason VanDyke was the stabilizer as he always made the right play and was great defending the ball. Jaden Sweatt and Benjamin Haggard provided boosts off the bench combining for 12 points as they provided a ton of energy and elevated the game for them.

Bryan Station's size and length

The combination of Felix Gonzalez and [player_tooltip player_id='1043602' first='Jaden' last='Biggers'] down low for Bryan Station caused problems for Dunbar. Both standing about 6-5, they affected shots at the rim and did a good job collecting rebounds. Biggers showed flashes of offense around the basket making a tough post move with his back to the basket as Gonzalez feels more comfortable on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1565985' first='Amari' last='Owens'] is a name to remember in the 2026 class

[player_tooltip player_id='1565985' first='Amari' last='Owens'] was the bright spot offensively for Bryan Station scoring 17 points. He was in constant attack mode and was crafty finishing around the rim. One of my favorite parts of his game tonight was his passing and vision when he drove. He did a good job staying under control and looked for shooters. Excited to follow Owens development as he is only a Freshman.
