RSL 74 – Cats (CA) 59
Starters
When this team is able to move the ball and simply get in a rhythm they are tough because they have a lot of players that can hit from the perimeter. With a big like Lyman who can pass out of the post it creates a fluid swing, swing situation that leads to good open shots.
The second unit that comes in provides a few different things that the first units shows. Stephan Osei is quicker and more athletic and the youngster Junior County Junior County 6'5" | PG Wasatch Academy | 2026 State UT is good as he can defend multiple positions and is a tough minded guard.
JJ Mandaquit JJ Mandaquit 6'2" | PG Utah Prep | 2025 State #45 Nation UT || 2025 ||
This kid is a player that simply knows how to play the game at a high level. His mechanics are elite especially if left alone and when he is shooting in the flow. It is easy to see why the USA team really liked him and his style of play. The great thing about him on the floor with a lot of players that can handle is he then moves over and shoots the ball.
David Katoa David Katoa 6'4" | CG Layton | 2024 State #255 Nation UT || 2024 ||
Ever since his commitment to Utah he seems a bit more care free in his game which is good for him. He is also shooting the ball a lot better. When he is catching off the move he is great and he is showing great balance.
Trey Evans Trey Evans 6'5" | PG RSL Academy | 2023 State UT || 2023 ||
Trey looks great out there. With multiple ball handlers out on the floor he has less pressure on him and it also allows him to run up the floor and fill lanes but also still really showcase that vision and passing ability up the floor. Makes some great passes.
Lyman Simmons Lyman Simmons 6'10" | PF RSL Academy | 2023 State UT || 2023 ||
There are a lot of D2’s hoping they can nab him as he does display some consistent play for a big man. His length is impressive and he is reading the defense well and knowing when to pass the ball out or when to make a move. Blocks shots and is a presence in the paint. Lyman showed an awesome spin move on the move that led to a two handed dunk. He is improving here with RSL.

Highlights
Junior County Junior County 6'5" | PG Wasatch Academy | 2026 State UT || 2026 ||
The youngster can play and he can hang with the big boys. Showed that he can defend and that he cam score at this level. Really like how he hangs out and crashes boards and gets o boards and defensive boards because he is tracking them down.
