[player_tooltip player_id='1573250' first='Tim' last='Barton'] | 6'5" forward | St. John's '23

Barton has shown steady improvement over the years. It looks like he could earn a key role as an energy guy who is a difference-maker defensively. Look for Barton to leave everything on the floor in his final year of high school hoops.

[player_tooltip player_id='1414533' first='Patrick' last='Curtin'] | 6'3" guard | Glenelg Country '25

Curtin enjoyed a productive run of play during the live period and looks like could become a big-time player for Coach Garrett O'Donnell. Expect him to score in double figures routinely.

Silas Devonish | 5'9" guard | Bishop Ireton '26

Devonish burst onto the scene at DMV Live. The dynamic freshman averaged nearly 20 points per game in 8 contests. This type of production at such an early stage is astonishing. It will be a lot of fun to watch Devonish throughout his debut campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489084' first='Sean' last='Donovan'] | 6'7" forward | WT Woodson '24

WT Woodson has been known to have high-level prospects over the years, and it appears that Donovan is next in line. The 6'7" forward spaces the floor confidently but has expanding face-up skills that will make him a tough matchup for foes. Keep a close eye on Donovan this season.

Corwin Holland | 6'4" wing | Rock Creek '24

Holland decided to reclassify into 2024, which is noteworthy. He has physical tools that can't be taught at 6-foot-4 and a knack for putting the ball in the basket. Coach Trevor Brown believes in Holland and is a safe bet to help him reach his full potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='1591318' first='Riley' last='Jacobs'] | 6'7" post | St. Stephen's & St. Agnes '25

Jacobs is another prospect who has decided to reclass. He should benefit from the additional year to grow into his body and develop. Jacobs is a nice addition to Coach Dre Hunter's squad. He will be a forceful paint presence for the Saints.

[player_tooltip player_id='1413497' first='Isaiah' last='Mbeng'] | 6'2" guard | Churchill '23

Mbeng told Prep Hoops he put in serious work with Darren McClinton this offseason, and the results have been positive. During our recent trip to the Bulldogs' open gym, he was in complete control. Mbeng is rapidly evolving into one of the better point guard prospects in the local '23 class. He'll be one to track in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1483024' first='Jay' last='Randall'] | 6'4" forward | Patriot '23

Randall is a jack-of-all-trades who gives the Pioneers a ton of flexibility. Defensively, Coach Rivers will deploy him on multiple fronts where he can wreak havoc. Randall is also a relentless rebounder who will help his team control the glass against squads that field taller opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='1410534' first='Jordan' last='Scott'] | 6'4" guard | South Lakes '25

Scott was certainly a key player for a very good Seahawks squad as a freshman, but we expect a significant bump in usage for his sophomore year. South Lakes loses quite a bit of firepower from a year ago, and he is expected to pick up the slack. If you're a high school basketball fan in Northern Virginia, Scott is someone you'll want to see sooner rather than later.

Martin Somerville | 6'2" guard | Bishop McNamara '24

Somerville figures to be an important player for what looks like will be a very interesting McNamara group. He is an explosive guard who can fill it up. Get your popcorn ready when he suits up.
