6) Aidan Argabright | 5’11” PG | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes (#15 Overall)
Argabright is going to be the cornerstone for the new SSSAS staff to build on, and the young guard has a lot of tools that make him the perfect guy to build around. The 5’11” guard has very good instincts and feel at the point guard position as a playmaker and creator, he gets in the lane where he’s a good finisher through contact and he’s a good on ball defender as well.
5) Khalil Caple Khalil Caple 6'4" | CG Norfolk Collegiate | 2025 State VA | 6’3” CG | King’s Fork (#13 Overall)
Caple may not be as skilled as some of the other guys on this list but the 6’3” combo has a lot of potential moving forward as he’s likely still growing and has a lot of intangibles you love in a guard. He’s tough as nails and gets after it on both ends of the floor, he can get to spots off the bounce and can score it from multiple levels and he’s a good rebounder and defender at his position too.
4) Chance Mallory Chance Mallory 5'10" | PG St. Anne's Belfield | 2025 State #73 Nation VA | 5’7” PG | STAB (#11 Overall)
Mallory continually silences critics who talk about his size and that he doesn’t look the part because he’s one of the most efficient, skilled and productive guards you will come across. While he isn’t the biggest he’s very smart and stays out of traps and makes great decisions, he’s an effortless scorer who has deep range and knows how to get his shot off against bigger defenders and he has a great feel for the game on both ends of the floor.
3) Shane Lincoln Shane Lincoln 6'4" | PG Bishop O'Connell | 2025 State VA | 6’4” CG | Bishop O’Connell (#9 Overall)
Lincoln is set to have a breakout sophomore year in a talented but young Bishop O’Connell backcourt, and the way he’s improved from his freshman to his sophomore year is very promising. The 6’4” combo has long arms and moves naturally with good speed and quickness, he can step into shots from deep and gets downhill where he can use his length to finish through contact and he has a lot of upside on the defensive end with said length and a frame that should fill out.
2) Donovan Richardson Donovan Richardson 6'6" | PG Steward | 2025 State #166 Nation VA | 6’5” CG | Collegiate (#6 Overall)
Richardson is quickly becoming one of the top players in the Richmond area regardless of class, and he already has a slew of D1 programs that have offered and are tracking him moving forward. Richardson already has terrific size for his position and uses his size and athleticism to find contact and finish through it, he has terrific feel and sees over defenders to make passes and he plays with great pace changing speeds and getting in the lane at will. He can score the ball efficiently and is a good distributor and makes the game look easy for himself and others.
1) Kaden Magwood Kaden Magwood 6'3" | PG Oak Hill Academy | 2025 State #139 Nation VA | 6’3” PG | Oak Hill Academy (#3 Overall)
Magwood is a super talented young guard that will be fighting for early time on a very good team that first year Head Coach Yerrick Stoneman has put together, and he’ll continue to improve a lot if he sticks it out at Oak Hill over the next few years. He’s highly skilled as he’s a knock down shooter from deep who has a quick release from deep and effortless range, he’s quick with the ball in his hands with a wicked first step getting in the lane easily to make plays for himself and others and he has a great handle that allows him to change directions and makes him tough to guard in isolation situations. He is a good athlete who has great instincts and is just scratching the surface with how good he can be moving forward.
