Below is my list of prospects from the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo in the Class of 2026 that are “sleepers”. “Sleepers” are prospects that may have gone under the radar, played junior varsity, or were more role players last season but are poised for some big-time showings this time around. These players can shock their respective conferences in due time while others will instantly make an impact come November.

[player_tooltip player_id='1289047' first='Sean' last='Hansen'] | Appleton North

Hansen has one of the tightest handles I've seen out of the 2025 class. He wields a calm demeanor and judicious shot selection. Hansen is a highly aware guard who does an excellent job finishing in the half-court as well as in transition. He proved to have great footwork when breaking down his matchup. Most impressive, was his ability to finish off two feet through contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1289073' first='Keegan' last='Van Kauwenberg'] | Kaukauna

Van Kauwenberg is a wiry guard and a gifted shooter. He wields a quick and high release. His length allows him to post up smaller matchups. The stock-rising wing was very effective in creating his shot and making defenders pay from range. The Kaukauna guard continuously made winning plays through selfless play in transition and his effort on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='1544726' first='Maddox' last='Cornette'] | Bay Port

Cornette is a complete paint presence that proved to have a great motor. He consistently alters shots when he isn't swatting them out of bounds. He plays with surprising discipline to stay in position in contests and box out on shot attempts. He's a prospect to keep an eye out for in the coming years. Standing at 6'7, he has a high ceiling with his wing span and mobility.

[player_tooltip player_id='1432805' first='Zach' last='Behn'] | Kewaskum

Behn is one of the best shooters and most complete prospects out of the 2025 class. Standing at 6'5, the guard out of Kewaskum can rise and fire from wherever he chooses. The stock-rising wing snatched boards in the paint with the bigs. Filled the lanes for transition dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598444' first='Eli' last='Erickson'] | Three Lakes

Erickson is a formidable facilitator and steady scorer. The guard out of Three Lakes was able to be very impactful with his selfless play. Most impressive was his willingness to advance the ball and relocate. He is a sniper in catch-and-shoot situations. The Sophomore guard played with a next-level focus that made for winning basketball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1540033' first='Carter' last='Wollan'] | Amery

Wollan had moments where he caught fire over multiple games in camp. The 6'2 guard out of Amery has a knack for hitting shots on the move. A reasonably strong guard that can get to his spots using his body, he was able to exploit mismatches in the mid-range. Most impressive were his crafty finishes at the basket, where he could finish either hand above and around defenders.

Below is my list of prospects from the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo in the Class of 2026 that are “sleepers”. “Sleepers” are prospects that may have gone under the radar, played junior varsity, or were more role players last season but are poised for some big-time showings this time around.
