Butler, the Jackson State signee, has added to his offensive game yearly. He has a consistent baseline jumper and has expanded his range to beyond the three point arc. Butler runs the floor like a gazelle and punishes the rim when he finishes. Defensively, he has been a game changer. His leaping ability allows him to protect the rim like a 7 footer. Butler, a recent Jackson State commit, continued to improve all summer. His play in the New Orleans pro-am league and on the travel circuit allowed him to work on his mid-range game. Becoming a better shooter added a dimension to his game. He was already very good in transition, attacking the rim and scoring from offensive rebounds. His finishing ability and enhanced shooting, coupled with his defensive prowess, make him a high level, two-way player.
