Murray is a really nice player that brings a lot to the table. He plays a ‘we over me’ style of game that I really like. That being said, he does have the ability to beat a defender off the bounce and get out in the open floor. Murray is a plus defender on the perimeter.

I became a real believer in Murray’s game and skills at the Prep Hoops Michigan Freshman Showcase last year. He’s done nothing but affirm my belief ever since. Murray had a really good weekend with the GR Storm, hitting the 20 plus point mark twice and averaging over 17 a game. He’s an athletic downhill player that forces the defense to react.

Murray really grabbed my attention with the way he played when the basketball was in his hands. He got the ball and went, showing that he could really push the pace when he was handling the ball. Murray was very aggressive with the rock as well.

Murray had himself a day at the Freshman Showcase and a lot of that had to do with his gritty play. He went 110% every second that he was on the court. Murray’s hustle directly led to points for his team.

Murray turned heads at the Freshman Showcase. His speed on the court, both with and without the ball, was second to none. He pushed the pace and finished at the rim with creativity.
