Offensively, he plays with his head up and at his own pace. Blow by speed and tight handle for him to get in the lane where he can finish with a floater or find open teammates.

Evansville Memorial just couldn’t get the three-point shots to fall that they needed in order to knock off Brownstown Central at the Hatchet House on Saturday afternoon. However, while the primeter shots weren’t falling, Kendrick did his part to lead a bit of a Memorial comeback in the second half by getting to the rim. Kendrick finished by scoring 10 of his 14 points in the second half. His athleticism, downhill quickness, and on-ball defense stood out in this contest.

Also a standout football player at Evansville Memorial, the 5’10” point guard had a strong sophomore campaign on the hardwood as well. He will be a part of a talented backcourt once again that will take on more a go-to scoring role now that 6’8″ Indiana All-Star forward Tucker Tornatta is at the University of Indianapolis. Kendrick is an excellent playmaker with high-level passing ability. Averaged 7.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game last season.

Kendrick is a talented point guard coming out of Evansville Memorial that will play with DI Indiana 2026 this weekend at the Grassroots Showcase in Louisville. Gained some valuable varsity experience as a freshman. He is a very good passer, creates for himself and others off of the bounce, and will be active as an on-ball defender. Anxious to see him compete this weekend.
