Kingston Flemings Kingston Flemings 6'1" | PG San Antonio Brennan | 2025 State #80 Nation TX 2025 6’2 Brennan High School (SA Future)
Kingston is continuing to develop at a RAPID rate. I am very impressed with the amount of attention he has put on his defensive game, routinely stripping the ball from his opponents and leading the fast break the other way. He has the ability to score off the dribble at will at all three levels but truly makes his mark with his vision and ability to set up his teammates. Whether he was firing full court passes to his teammates for easy looks or attacking the basket and drawing a second defender and finding his open teammates from the backside rotation, Flemmings picked apart almost every defense thrown at him. I was very impressed with his consistency that he had with every pass, even the 3/4 court pass to beat the defense up the court. His ability to control the game and dictate every possession was incredibly impressive.
Camden Cowgill Camden Cowgill 6'3" | SG San Antonio Brennan | 2025 State #382 Nation TX 2025 6’1 Brennan High School (SA Future)
Camden is a skilled and sharp shooting guard who thrives at getting to his spots beyond the arc and in the mid-range. You can tell he thinks about the game at a very high level with his ability to always seem to be in the right spot on both ends of the floor. I was blown away by his confidence and willingness to hunt for his own shot no matter the defense. His consistent aggression and scoring ability really propells his team, and the connection he has with his combo guard counter part is a clear indication that Brennan will be a force to be reckoned with over the next few years as these two highly skilled guards continue to develop and make each other better.
Jeremiah is a highly skilled and dominant guard with his ability to hang in the air and dominate out of the post. I had to double check with someone on his age with how effortlessly he was scoring and manipulating the defense. He has some of the best footwork that I have seen at a player that young, and he knows how to use it to his advantage at all three levels of the court. Whether he is stopping on a dime to rise up in the midrange, or euro-stepping around the help defender, Green always seems to be one step ahead of the defense both mentally and physically! He is such a smart player who understands how to attack and use space on the basketball court. He is a very shifty player with how low to the ground he plays, and how quickly he can turn and create space with a live dribble. Where he really keeps the defense off balance is his willingness to shoot in the midrange off the stop and pop. It always catches defenders back peddling, and when they are waiting for it, he gives them a head fake and takes off for the rim. Green is a very mature combo guard with the ability to get downhill and get into the teeth of the paint and make good decisions for his teammates. He has a great motor paired with good end to end speed, that allows him to finish at will on the fast break. After seeing him perform at such a high level, I was not surprised to hear that he had been invited to the Team USA 17U National Training Camp, announced this week. His stock is continuing to rise, and after watching him play he is likely one of the top guards in that 2025 class.
Trent Pane 2025 6’0 Allen High School (Crab5 16U)
Trent was one of the most impressive 2025’s in attendance at the GASO with his ability to do it all on both ends of the court, even at the guard position. He has an impressive leaping ability to rebound the ball, finish at the rim, reject shots and rise up to create space with his jumper. I was blown away by his non stop motor, and how he used his aggressiveness to go coast to coast and finish in the paint. He routinely snatched defensive rebounds, and used his end to end speed to beat the team down the court to finish or make the right outlet pass ahead. Trent was a big reason why this 16U team won their bracket at the GASO, beating older and stronger competition through his nonstop energy and his aggressiveness to score from all three levels of the floor. He is a sharp shooting guard off the bounce, who can shoot from beyond the arc and in the midrange, depending on what the defense gave him. His shooting is probably the second best aspect of his game, next to his athleticism and aggressiveness. Payne is a combo guard who can easily develop all of the right point guard instincts to allow him to become incredibly successful at the next level. Keep your eye on this one before he pops!
Calvin Murphy III 2025 6’0 Jack Yates High School (Houston Hoops 15U EYBL)
Calvin is a true point guard with a great feel for the game and to create for his teammates in both the half court and the full court. I was very impressed with his quickness with a live dribble and the ease in which he knifed through the defense to create confusion by drawing a second defender. When he drew a second defender, time and time again he made the right kick-out pass to punish the defense. His creation and overall feel for the court really stood out and is a big reason why his team had any success. I loved his foot speed and how he used his shiftiness to make the defense work when they attempted to pick him up full court. He shook off full court pressure and continued to effect the game with his vision and how well he manipulated the defense in the half court was very impressive for his young age. I would like to see him get more aggressive with his shot selection, especially in the midrange where you can tell he has put the work in. He is a smart shooter who really seems to only take shots when he has the supreme advantage, and is comfortable using post fade aways to create separation. Murphy is one to keep tabs on as he continues to grow for sure!
