There will be new names that emerge as many players move in and many players simply start to see the floor at their respective high school but these names you see under are players that have been stock rising this summer either in the ranking locally or in the eyes of college coaches looking to find prospects for the Class of 2024, because it is never to early to be on the trail for a gooD PG.
6’3 PG Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 6'4" | PG Olympus | 2024 State UT || Olympus High School || 2024 ||
The gap between PG’s might have gotten bigger as Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 6'4" | PG Olympus | 2024 State UT had himself a very memorable summer as he went head to head with some of the best PG’s in the country. He went up against players with offers from all Power Conferences. Jordan ran the show on a club team that went 23-4. He was not only getting the ball to his teammates through solid passing he was creating space off the dribble. Players thought they could pick him up full-court but they did not have much luck as he was shaking player left and right with various moves and a tight handle. Jordan also uses his change of speed better than anyone in the state likely. Jordan gets in the lane and finishes and he is shooting better. Defensively he holds his own. This kid is going to be a great get as he is only scratching the surface.
6’2 PG Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT || Weber High School || 2024 ||
Hunter is that player that absolutely takes advantage of his time on the floor regardless what team he is playing for. He has a good burst of speed when he gets into his moves and he does get downhill quickly. Impressive mid-range game that he gets too quickly. He will be a player to watch this high school season as he has an opportunity to continue to turn heads with his play and at times hidden athleticism. If he can get on a hot streak from deep and if he gets going he is going to light it up.
6’0 PG Ace Reiser Ace Reiser 6'0" | PG Alta | 2024 State UT || Bingham High School || 2024 ||
Ace is a fun player to watch because he makes some tough plays look easy. Not too many players have his mid-range/floater game in the state as he can get in the paint and not need to get right to the rim to finish because he has an elite finishing bag in the paint. This kid is the shiftiest guard in the class and he proved this summer that he can do more than score as he was defending at a high level, rebounding and distributing. Ace can really play at the next level, he is strong and skilled.
6’4 PG Hunter Hansen Hunter Hansen 6'4" | PG Fremont | 2024 State UT || Fremont High School || 2024 ||
Great positional size and he plays at his own pace. That is a big time quality because he does not let teams playing fast speed him up. He can shoot over defenders as he does have some nice elevation to his shot and his handle and vision continue to improve. He will be a sleeper in the class that could really make an impact for the right program at the college level.
5’10 PG Jordan Roberts Jordan Roberts 6'0" | PG Dixie | 2024 State UT || Dixie High School || 2024 ||
This kid can drop dimes like no other. He has good pieces around him. With quality bigs and quality shooter and Jordan can find them and make them all look good all while he looks good as well. He is a past first PG that can run a team and get everyone theirs. He will be a big part in that State Championship run. Could make Dixie the team to beat.
