We get started with a look at part one of the biggest risers from the last rankings update, looking at five guys who have rose through their play in the new rankings.

Kaiser is one of the biggest stock risers in the country, as he’s picked up offers from high major schools from all over the country and solidifying himself as one of the best wings in the country. He’s a very talented shot maker who can score from all three levels, he has improved in his ability to create shots and make contested shots late in the shot clock and he’s a big time athlete who can play above the rim and defends as well. He plays with a good motor and is a competitor who comes after you time and time again.

Dubsky has one of the biggest jumps in the updated rankings, as he has improved a ton over the past few years and has had a huge spring, picking up a number of division one offers. The 6’3” two guard is a walking bucket who can fill it up from multiple levels, he is very good at creating space off the bounce and he can score it in bunches and make tough shots off the bounce. He has put up big numbers all spring long and could see even more attention during the high school live periods.

Coleman is another player who has produced at a high level during the spring and looks like he’s turning the corner toward all the potential that we have seen in him from a young age. The 6’6” versatile wing has good length and athleticism for the position, he can guard multiple positions and has played with an improved motor this spring and he’s shown improvement in his shot making ability from multiple levels. He has a ton of potential with his physical and athletic tools and he’s also a high academic kid who gets great grades at a good school and should be on the radar of high academic division one schools.

Cole is a well-rounded lead guard who knows how to control the game and can impact the game in a number of different ways when he’s on the basketball. He plays with good pace and is shifty off the bounce allowing him to create space and get in the lane, he has good vision and feel and is a playmaker that makes his teammates better and he can score it efficiently off the bounce and in different ways. He’s always in control and doesn’t get flustered by pressure and he simply knows how to play and plays the game the right way.

Saunders is another prospect who has had a huge spring after helping Cave Spring to a state championship this past season, and he continues to become more polished and has a lot of tools that coaches look for in a big man. The 6’8” big can really stretch the floor and has improved in his consistency from deep, he has good hands and feet in the post and good touch around the rim and he uses his length to defend the rim and rebounds well on both ends of the floor. He’s the typical stretch big man who is productive in a number of different ways and continues to get better and more consistent.
