One of the best floor generals I saw throughout the weekend was Camden. He controlled pace and tempo, created for teammates, and was a reliable source when it came to taking care of the ball and making sure his team got the best out of each possession. He has an impressive basketball IQ, good vision, and a great understanding of what his coach wants. His creating off the bounce, excellent vision, and elite passing created practice target shots for his spot-up shooters.
The bottom line when it comes to Camden is he adds value the moment the ball touches his hands.
Camden is a special player that coaches can trust to play within himself, giving his coach and teammates peace of mind at the floor general spot.

Dorian took up residence in the paint, and it was nothing that perimeter defenders were able to do about it. He put tremendous pressure on defenses as he got to his spots off the bounce at will. He is a gifted ball-handler with a hesi move that leaves defenders stuck, then playing catch-up. He has excellent body control when he gets to the paint as he plays off two feet and his gather steps lead to explosive finishes at the rim. What was really impressive about Dorian was his low turnover rate when viewed in the scope of just how much he handles the ball within a particular game.
Dorian was one of the ’22 kids looking to increase his stock, and as this was my first time laying eyes on him, I have to admit that he had an impressive showing.
He was a downhill attacking guard that was creative with his finishes, could knock down the trey ball, and at the end of the day, showed a brilliant floor game throughout the weekend. In a 59-71 loss to TSF Elite, he went for 17pts.

JC had a solid weekend as he showed his ability to facilitate and score. He showed a nice balance between the two and was productive in both capacities. He is not a high-volume three-point shooter, but he was very efficient from behind the arc. He functioned as a triple threat player that contributed as a shooter, passer, and driver. Off the bounce, he created for teammates, and his high-level passing led to easy buckets.
He was a consistent source of production beyond the score sheet, and he has excellent game instincts and a very nice feel for the game.
He finished with 13pts in the 42-28 victory over Savannah Select.

Mykel was selected as a Top Performer at #PHATownShowdown as he showed great promise. He did not list any offers, and I wonder if he has been overlooked due to his size. Despite standing only 5’10, he is a court-savvy, highly productive guard that knows how to score the rock.
He is a relentless competitor, and it did not matter if his team was up or down; you never could tell as he was locked in and engaged when his team was winning or losing, and whether he was on the floor or cheering and giving guidance from the bench.
In a 58-69 loss to TDBA, Mykel poured in 15pts.

In the game that I saw Noah, he got off to a slow start, but it did not take long for him to pick it up and show all in attendance what was in his toolbox. He scored at multiple levels and was at his best when slashing to the rim and finishing strong. He shoots the ball with enough efficiency from behind the arc to keep defenders honest, making him a difficult cover, as defenders have to stay in limbo guessing his next move.
He has developed a nice offensive repertoire that can carry him to the next level, but I definitely need to see more of a commitment on the defensive end of the floor.
He is a guard that doesn’t mind crashing and battling on the boards. In a 57-51 win over West Alabama Elite, Noah chipped in 16pts.

Jordan showed that he is a proven shooter and a solid ball-handler who is a constant source of production. I was able to put eyes on him several times throughout the weekend, and there were times that he was hands down the best player on the court. He showed that he can pull up for the trey ball off the bounce and knockdown c&s opportunities. As you can see, he has three-point range, but he is also an adept pick-and-roll initiator that has an ingenious way of getting to the line. He is a combo guard that can facilitate, but he is at his best when he is in attack mode and looking to score. He was one of the few ’22 kids out this weekend trying to increase his stock. His production on the offensive end of the floor stood out, and he has a legit shot of catching additional programs’ attention. I question how he will stand up defensively at the next level as his on-ball defense is an area of growth, but as he gets stronger and quicker, that could help on that side of the floor.
Make no mistake about it, he is bringing to a program a reliable and trustworthy ball-handler and a player that finds the means to score the rock.
In a 51-57 loss to Greensboro Warriors, he had 10pts. In the 76-50 victory over Bama Elites, he poured in 29pts.

Jordan was one of the best off the bounce as he was terrific at changing speeds and keeping the defense off-balance. His acceleration was like none other, as he could stop on the dime and then get back going downhill in the blink of an eye. Very few guards at #PHATownShowdown could match his creative depth, as he has handles and lightning speed to get anywhere on the court he wants. He has a reliable in-between game with great elevation on the pull-up jumper. He showed his finishing tools and has a very impressive runner. He embraced contact on the drive and never allowed it to cause him to be knocked off his course to the basket.
He has straight-line speed, which makes his ability to create off the bounce even tougher to defend.
He is one of the ’22 players that was out trying to get more eyes on his game. He had a fantastic weekend and just has to get in front of the right eyes, as he has a chance to contribute at the next level. In the 62-63 loss to F.I.S.T., he had 11pts.
Offers: Jordan did not answer in the questionnaire whether or not he had any offers.
Stay tuned as more is coming from #PHATownShowdown.
