becoming widely known as a super bouncy point guard that won’t hesitate to rise up with an attempt to punch a dunk on a defender’s head. Standing at only 5-foot-10-inches, Overstreet is already displaying all of the makings of a potential high flyer. Crazy athleticism, supreme body control, good hang time, acrobatic, and absorbs contact unbelievably well. This freshman recruit has mastered the art of scoring off-balance whether it’s through contact or a clogged lane, all Parker needs is a view of the basket and he will more than likely convert the layup or floater with a kiss right off of the glass. In isolation, Overstreet can score at will, he has turbo in his first step that gets him all the way to the rack from the perimeter with one dribble and an explosive one-foot leap. Anytime his teammates clear out the lane, he makes his move and he’s at the basket in a blink of an eye either finishing the play or drawing the foul call. The Victory Academy guard makes scoring off the dribble appear easy. Overstreet always has his eyes scanning past his defender looking to exploit the help defense and searching for an opening in the paint, the moment the center leaves his post Parker attacks the hole with a straight-line drive.
Elijah Catungal | Point Guard | Odessa, TX | Drive Nation Sports 2025 Price
Elijah Catungal plays with a great feel for the game, good productivity, a super high motor, and great instincts on both ends. When Catungal is on the floor he seems like one of the best rebounding guards around, he grabs boards at a high rate and has had stints where he pulled down rebounds consecutively while going down and back from offense to defense. As a facilitator, Elijah sees the court very well, he isn’t afraid to take chances and can thread the needle, oftentimes his passing through congestion is superb. When it comes to dribble penetration this guard can effortlessly get to the rack and finish with all types of reverse and up-and-under lay-ins, showing creativity in traffic and through contact, often drawing and absorbing body contact on the way up. Defensively, Elijah brings an aggressive and intense prowess to the floor, hounding ball-handlers above the perimeter and shooting the passing gaps at top speed creating countless fast break opportunities. Catungal also recovers and helps effectively on the defensive end by protecting the middle of the floor, playing the lane lines, and sprinting to close out on the perimeter.
Tanner Bookout | Shooting Guard | Allen, TX | RBA Academy 2025
This 6-foot-2 guard is the definition of a sniper, he’s a true three-point specialist that can knock it down from all areas beyond the arc, in every way imaginable. You can always expect him to let it fly the moment the ball touched his hands with no wasted motion. Bookout’s shooting touch and consistency are simply remarkable and once he catches fire there is no stopping or slowing him down. He’s even reliable in clutch situations where he hands opposing teams momentum crushing threes on the regular. Bookout is just as hard to stop when he’s coming downhill with a full head of steam, once Tanner’s inside the paint he’s going to score one way or another. The Texas native is extremely tough and unphased by traffic, hard fouls, contesting defenders, or contact, he has a knack for finding a way to maneuver through the lane and finish with scoop layups, finger rolls, and soft-touch leaners. With so many facets to his game, his passing ability to get overlooked, he’s a natural distributor with quarterback-like accuracy. Bookout zips one hand passes through the lane to teammates in the dunker’s spot with ease and hit his corner shooters on fast breaks with pinpoint behind-the-back throws. Tanner Bookout is a proven offensive weapon with an abundance of ways of raising the level of play when the ball is in his hands.
Erik Richardson | Center | Austin, TX | Nike ProSkills Austin 2025 South Austin
6-foot-5-inch big man with massive size, overwhelming power, and strength that went unmatched. All of this combined allows Richardson to control the paint on the offensive end. Erik shows quality court vision, he’s a rare center that looks to pass it out of the post often, always scanning the floor over top of everyone’s head for slashing teammates or an open man on the perimeter. Impressive passing abilities, he moves the ball with speed when kicking it out of single, double, and triple coverage. Richardson is a true postman that plays big and doesn’t allow himself to be stopped by just one man. Strong unmovable base down on the block, whenever Richardson establishes position he either gets hacked, scores, or puts up a shot attempt while powering his way through contact.
Dominique Smith | Center | Denison, TX | Sparks Basketball Team 2025
At 6-foot-8 Smith’s height and length make him an easy passing and scoring option, not to mention a dangerous shot blocker. On the defensive end is where Dominique has really shined and shown potential as a rim protector. Offensively, Smith’s shots seem impossible for anyone to block or contest effectively at times, even against tight defense or limited space Smith can usually spin in to his jump hook or turnaround and shoot over the top of them with a clear view of the hoop.
