— PG — Minnesota Select
I knew that Malmlov was a talented player who was capable of playing at a high level. But I didn’t know that he was this good. The point guard is one of the best three-point shooters that I had the opportunity to watch in April. When he gets an inch of space, the PG will look to get a three up. I also liked how Malmlov passed and played defense in the month of April.
Bennett Fried

— SF — Coulee Country
Fried just has so much potential. He is a long and lanky small forward with a lot of skill to match his size. As a scorer, Fried has the ability to put the ball on the floor and create his own offense. He does a good job of slashing to the rim and getting layups. Fried can also spot up and drain shots from beyond the arc.
James Prescott — PG — Illinois Elite
At the Chi-Town tip off, Prescott was super impressive as a pure scorer. Running the point for Illinois Elite, I thought that Prescott was phenomenal with the ball in his hands. He is a slick dribbler that also has a very quick first step. He uses this quickness to blow by his defender and get layups. Prescott is also super dangerous as a shooter in the mid range.

— SG — Minnesota Fury
I am not sure that Shikenjanski has as high of a ceiling when compared to his peers. But I do know one thing: The Minnesota Fury shooting guard is really, really good player right now. Shikenjanski is a super versatile player on the offensive end. He scores well and might pass even better. Overall, the SG is just an awesome player that is really fun to watch.

— SF — Iowa Barnstormers
Maybe the best overall prospect from the Hard Work Region that I watched in April, Bear is a matchup problem who opposing squads really struggle to slow down. The small forward can stretch the floor and knock down threes, or use his handles to drive and score in the paint. At two live periods, many college programs had their eye on Bear. Look for the SF to keep improving and get even better in May.
Isaiah Hagen

— PG — Minnesota Select
Hagen’s scoring game is so complete. The point guard can make threes, hit mid range jumpers, and drive to the rim and convert. There are not many defenders that can effectively slow down the Minnesota Select PG. Hagen isn’t a slouch on the defensive end either. He plays a physical brand of defense, as he doesn’t shy away from contact.
AJ Uttech — SG — Wisconsin Academy
I think that Uttech could end up being a big-time sleeper in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. The Wisconsin Academy shooting guard is a tough-shot maker who has a knack for getting difficult shots to fall. It doesn’t matter how closely he is guarded, Uttech is always dangerous as a scorer. I like how physical the SG is when he puts his head down and slashes to the cup.
