How do you think your team and yourself performed throughout this season?
-I thought we preformed really good and exceeded the expectations especially with loosing so many seniors from last season.
What was the biggest obstacle you and your team faced this season?
-I think the biggest obstacle we faced was our loss to Mountlake Terrace in late December and the way we bounced back from that was great.
What do you think you improved most on the court?
-I think the thing I improved most on this season on the court was my shooting but also my leadership for my team as a captain.
What are you looking to improve before the next level?
I am definitely working to improve my ball handling and also my shooting even more as I reach the next level.
Who are some teammates that you think stood out this season? Who are some teammates who could have breakout years next year in your eyes?
-I think obviously
Leyton Martin

was a huge contributor scoring a lot and passing the ball amazing but I think one of our teammates who went a little more unnoticed was Ty Rusko with his defensive presence and intensity but also the leadership he brought to our team, everybody looked up to him including myself. I think

and Jake Willis, I really Arlington will have one of the toughest backcourts next season and especially the season following that.

Previous Rank: 102rnThe Arlington forward opened some eyes at the state tournament with his sneaky athleticism and strong finishes at the cup. He’s a combo forward who has great ball skills, can play from the outside, and is an excellent rebounder who can bump with the big guys inside. He adds tremendous value to any lineup and has been trending up all season, helping the Eagles to a great season along the way.

Strengths: Motor, Rebounding, Strength
Breakdown: Zachman is a huge factor for Arlington with his ability to finish through contact around the cup and work the glass to add possessions for his team. He’s a good leaper and though his lateral quickness doesn’t quite match that, he has the natural ability to build on and get quicker. As a rebounder, he works for position, has good hands, and gets involved on both ends. He’s shown the ability to hit the three-ball and has had some big scoring outputs as of late.
Outlook: He’s technically a “big” for his high school squad but Zachman has all the skills to be a rebounding wing that can add scoring inside and out. If he continues to improve from beyond the arc, he could also fit in as an undersized stretch forward. He’s got a great foundation of skills that lend him to either position and he seems to be finding his groove as we approach playoff ball.
Offers: George Fox University, Pacific Lutheran University
Interest: Northwest University, Bellevue College

David is a big body down low who is hard to stop. He has great footwork down low, leading too many post move scores. He also gets a lot of second chance points as he is involved in rebounds quite a bit. Against Lynnwood on 12/13/2022, Zachman showed off his offensive game dropping 31 points. He also collected 4 rebounds and 2 assists on the night.
