<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Tarrant County’s Senior All-Star game presented by Hoop Junkie was filled with some of the best senior prospects from the Fort Worth metroplex. On this weekend, the top ballers competed in the 3-Point Shootout, the Dunk Contest, and the highly anticipated All-Star Game. The top unsigned seniors in the city were given a chance to showcase their remarkable skill sets one final time before moving on to bigger and better things. Here we recap and break down the competitions from this remarkable event. </strong></p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><em><strong>3-Point Contest Recap</strong></em></span></p>
<p><img class="size-medium wp-image-1432323 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/04/IMG_1794-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />This 3-point shootout gave contestants 60 seconds to shoot 15 total shots from 5 different spots beyond the arc. Keller Central’s <span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"><span style="font-size: 1rem;">6-foot-3-inch combo guard, DaeVeon Scott got it going by draining his long-range shots with and without his feet being set, he l</span>iked to catch the ball on the hop while going into his jumper. P</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">oint Guard, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">B.J. Williams from Fort Worth Brewer High School, shot it well off the c</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">atch and knocked down consecutive trays with a left-to-right two-step. Williams n</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ailed 7 three-pointers in the first round and 8 in the second round, falling just a couple of shots away from the final round. Sharpshooting small forward, </span>[player_tooltip player_id="1204098" first="Jamison" last="Bosch"] displayed a v<span style="font-size: 1rem;">ery consistent shooting form, good elevation with a r</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">elease slightly above his head. But most impressive of them all was Birdville’s very own, [player_tooltip player_id="958897" first="Chase" last="Henderson"] who took home crown. Henderson fluidly s</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">tepped into every shot and let it fly with great accuracy and a sweet touch, whether he missed or made it the ball hit the exact same spot on the basket, showing consistency as a remarkable shooter. </span></p>

Richland High School senior guard, </span></span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">[player_tooltip player_id="889581" first="Jourdyn" last="Grandberry"] stepped up to the plate and r</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"><span style="font-size: 1rem;">aised the stakes after Arop’s mind-blowing dunk by exploding off the ground and cleanly clearing the nearly 7-foot Arop Arop, showing supreme confidence in his leaping and dunking abilities. </span></span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Young Men’s Leadership Academy star, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">[player_tooltip player_id="1205165" first="Zach" last="Lee"] also impressed everyone in attendance with his first slam dunk</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> which came off of a hard bounce to himself for a mean windmill throw down. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Texas-ranked guard, [player_tooltip player_id="1204025" first="Marlon" last="Carrington"] out of Haltom High School won the contest after pulling off multiple dunks that made him</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> look as if he could fly, his sheer elevation and knack for converting his slams with a limited number of attempts earned him the victory at the end. </span></p>
