2024 Rankings: Top Power Forwards

<p>The Sophomore class is a good one and we've already got over 100 ranked players in the class before their 16u AAU seasons start. There are several kids with modest statistics but big time potential so it's been a tough class to figure out so far. These are the top Power Forwards in the 2024 rankings. This does not include players who were in the top 10 of the rankings.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1088850" first="Beau" last="Baker"], Washington County - Baker is a big and bruising post player who stars in 3 separate sports. Beau plays baseball and football at a high level and is an all region level performer on the basketball court. He doesn't shoot the ball great outside the paint but Baker can score over either shoulder on the block and is a load in the post.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="938536" first="Will" last="Bishop"], Lincoln County - Bishop had a limited Sophomore season after missing all but one game his freshman season. As he's coming back from injury, Will has a lot of rust to knock off but if he can get back to the form he had at an earlier age, the 6'7 forward should move back up the rankings list thanks to his skill level.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1032747" first="Johnny" last="Djema"], Evangel Christian - Another raw project from Evangel Christian, Djema is part of the trio of bigs who hold down the paint for the Eagles. Johnny has a long way to go in his development but he has potential now as a rim running big who can protect the rim by blocking shots and is a dunking machine on offense.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1088820" first="Brady" last="Shoulders"], Lyon County - The younger of the Shoulders brothers who patrolled the paint for Lyon County this season, Brady averaged nearly a double double this past season and his best basketball is still ahead of him. With his brother graduating, look for Shoulders to carry a bigger scoring and rebounding load next year.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1088803" first="Alex" last="Evans"], Elizabethtown - Alex is highly skilled and plays with a great motor that allows him to play bigger than he is. His best basketball is ahead of him and Evans should move into a prominent role in the E-town offense next season after modest stats this year.
