Expert Analysis
Steve Quattrocchi | Prep Hoops Scout
Reesor has the size and skill level to be a prototypical stretch 4 in college and could be a sleeper candidate for top player in the 11th region this season. Ian has shown he can put the ball on the floor and be a playmaker at times but he’s also a very reliable shooter from distance whose best basketball is ahead of him.

A versatile 6’5″ wing for Kentucky Future Elite 2024, Ressor has really burst onto the scene this spring as a high-level small college prospect. He can score it from the perimeter as a shooter or playmaker off of the bounce while also possessing the size to finish around the basket against smaller defenders. Love his two-way versatility. Reesor is one of my prospects worth checking out for this team loaded with talent.

Reesor is a 6’6″ forward that was excellent around the basket as Kentucky Future Elite 2024 finished 4-0 on the weekend. He averaged 11.3 points per game and rebounded at a high level for one of the best teams at The Stage. One of several very good college prospects on this team.

The 6-6 small forward played with Kentucky Future Elite this past weekend and was the focal point of their team. He can rebound against most bigs as he used his size and length to an advantage. Reesor is also a threat to shoot from the perimeter knocking down 3-pointers at a near 35 percent rate. He is often used as a perennial wing player where kids bigger than him had the disadvantage throughout the weekend.

The 6-6 small forward is not your typical post player. Reesor shot 36 percent from beyond the arc this past season for Sayre High School. He rarely turns the ball over and can handle the basketball like a guard. He is a capable three level scorer as well as rebound with kids bigger than him on the defensive end. Reesor will look to have a big summer season for Kentucky Future leading up to his senior season.

Reesor had a great season averaging 15 ppg knocking down 36 from 3pt range. Has great feel finding open spaces to cut and finish. He over simplifies his game and rarely plays outside himself. Can put the ball on the floor for one or two dribbles to drive. Capable 3pt shooter as well off the catch. Could breakout this summer and also will be critical to develop his ball handling which will allow him to expand his game.
