Top 25

Olympus: The trio of [player_tooltip player_id="1057020" first="Jordan" last="Barnes"], [player_tooltip player_id="1057034" first="Dutch" last="Dowdell"] and [player_tooltip player_id="934490" first="Jack" last="Wistrcill"] was such a tough team to deal with. They had a tough schedule and played in some tight games but in the end the shooting, passing and paint play was just too much. At the end of the day there could be three D1 kids that played on this team.

American Fork: The strength of schedule was not really accounted for in the RPI and the human element really hurt opponents as they were ranked so low in the RPI. They should’ve been a 4 seed. [player_tooltip player_id="967707" first="Yaw" last="Reneer"] played some crazy defense, [player_tooltip player_id="934491" first="Evan" last="Young"] was running his offense and [player_tooltip player_id="934486" first="Noah" last="Moeaki"] was just the physical guard they needed. With glue guys coming through like [player_tooltip player_id="934024" first="Aaron" last="Dunne"], [player_tooltip player_id="969235" first="Ashton" last="Wallace"] and company there is a lot of next level players from D3 TO D1 on this roster.

Corner Canyon: Corner got some amazing play from [player_tooltip player_id="968111" first="Jaiden" last="Feroah"] but that magic ran out too soon. Either way he is a major unsigned talent in that Class of 2022. [player_tooltip player_id="934040" first="Max" last="Toombs"] was good all year and [player_tooltip player_id="1056969" first="Brody" last="Kozlowski"] was a tough piece that came back healthy. [player_tooltip player_id="968110" first="Tyler" last="Burraston"] is a sharp shooter that is available. Corner canyon doesn’t rebuild, they reload.

Westlake: Big time play and grit from [player_tooltip player_id="968781" first="Dylan" last="Jones"], Willy Jensen and company. The defense and smart movement on offense really was hard to deal with all year long. Dylan is a big time shooter.

Bingham: Bingham ran out of gas a few games to early but a solid run as [player_tooltip player_id="1057035" first="Ace" last="Reiser"] proved to not only be a high level creator and scorer. [player_tooltip player_id="968085" first="Luke" last="Leatherwood"], [player_tooltip player_id="968083" first="Devin" last="Carlson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="968084" first="Kam" last="Dupaix"] will all play at the next level.

Cyprus: When you have a player like [player_tooltip player_id="934030" first="Quentin" last="Meza"] on the team you always have a shot, then you ad solid players like [player_tooltip player_id="967705" first="MJ" last="Tia"], [player_tooltip player_id="1257172" first="Justus" last="Jackson-Fobbs"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1057025" first="Diego" last="Mulford"] it really makes them a true contender. Stay tuned for next year.

Pleasant Grove: PG was fueled by the big time play of [player_tooltip player_id="1127199" first="McCaden" last="Adams"] who has a few D2’s courting him.

Davis: Davis was solid all year and they just had a bad game that knocked them off. [player_tooltip player_id="934473" first="Rex" last="Sunderland"] was such a good high school player and he will likely play at a D1 school next year. [player_tooltip player_id="968050" first="Colby" last="Simms"] and Henry Ihrig have an opportunity to play at the next level too.

Snow Canyon: The 4A State Champion could run with anyone above them in the rankings. [player_tooltip player_id="1132291" first="Bowen" last="Hammer"] and [player_tooltip player_id="934041" first="Lyman" last="Simmons"] have game. [player_tooltip player_id="1384536" first="Owen" last="Mackay"] is up next too.

Woods Cross: [player_tooltip player_id="934027" first="Mason" last="Bendinger"], [player_tooltip player_id="969245" first="Jaxon" last="Smith"] and Nick Hogan had this team dancing in the playoffs. Stay tuned as the two top scorers return.

Murray: [player_tooltip player_id="934036" first="Chudi" last="Anosike"] is a big time scorer. He almost carried them to the final. [player_tooltip player_id="967691" first="Bowen" last="Davies"] is also a next level big.

Dixie: Dixie was running the table and then they lost their best player in [player_tooltip player_id="1191953" first="Risko" last="Brooks"] to a fractured face. A lot fo other players stepped up like [player_tooltip player_id="1185179" first="Kyle" last="Lemke"].

Orem: Orem was a fun team to watch, [player_tooltip player_id="1127232" first="Dane" last="Christensen"], [player_tooltip player_id="1127234" first="Nick" last="Clark"], [player_tooltip player_id="1192301" first="Carter" last="Walker"] and Ethan Stoddard made for a tough group of 4.

Layton Christian: Would love to see LCA play a tougher schedule against the teams above. They have a lot of International talent.

Farmington: [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"] was as good as advertised. Excited to see the next chapter at the next level when he returns from an LDS Mission.

Syracuse: [player_tooltip player_id="935898" first="Kaden" last="Ericksen"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1201664" first="Brock" last="Williams"] have this team trending upward as they look to change the culture.

Skyridge: [player_tooltip player_id="967723" first="Nick" last="Holland"], [player_tooltip player_id="968113" first="Colby" last="Carter"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1045919" first="Bryson" last="Bailey"] played excellent senior seasons.

Copper Hills: Solid senior class in [player_tooltip player_id="968092" first="Luke" last="Moir"], [player_tooltip player_id="968093" first="McCoy" last="Langston"] and [player_tooltip player_id="968091" first="Quincy" last="Hills"] wrap up great high school careers.

Kearns: Kearns could’ve played a tougher schedule that would’ve gave them a better RPI, but either way [player_tooltip player_id="1192180" first="Jovan" last="Lee"] and [player_tooltip player_id="934492" first="Gott" last="Daw"] have next level ability.

Fremont: Fremont has some young pieces coming back. [player_tooltip player_id="1115931" first="Hunter" last="Hansen"] could be the next big scorer in Region 1.

Alta: Alta started to build a new culture of winning and they return [player_tooltip player_id="1298532" first="Jaxon" last="Johnson"] who will be a big time player.

Ridgeline: [player_tooltip player_id="934474" first="Kaden" last="Cox"] is an absolute bucket. [player_tooltip player_id="967688" first="Peyton" last="Knowles"] was good too, but look out for [player_tooltip player_id="1392877" first="Carson" last="Cox"] coming back.

West Jordan: A lot of players returned this year and they played well. [player_tooltip player_id="934507" first="Logan" last="Prince"] is good and he is fast. He can score in a hurry.

Juan Diego Catholic: Had arguably the best big in the state but they fell short but they added a 10th Region Title. Look for Malcik Diallo to really turn it up next season. They have. two young guards that should be starting next season in [player_tooltip player_id="1190621" first="Noah" last="Bendinger"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1190620" first="Bryton" last="Valdes"].

Bonneville: Gritty team that shot the lights out. [player_tooltip player_id="1191443" first="Koy" last="Dixon"] was nice.
