Paul McMillan IV Paul McMillan IV 6'2" | PG Woodward | 2022 State #229 Nation OH , 6’2 PG Woodward 2022: McMillan left Ohio for Arizona for a short period of time, causing him to briefly leave the Ohio rankings for Arizona, but he’ll be back in the top 10 during the next update. A 2,000 point scorer, McMillan has been a name to follow since his freshman season. I’m very curious where he ends up after this season, McMillan has really improved his explosiveness since last season.
Jamal Sumlin Jamal Sumlin 6'2" | PG Rhodes | 2022 State OH , 6’2 PG Rhodes 2022: One of my favorite players in the state, Sumlin is the type of point guard I’d always want on my team. Playing with Ypsi Prep last season, Sumlin was actually one of their more productive players and provided some much-needed toughness. I strongly believe Sumlin is an impact player at the mid-major level.
Roderick Coffee Roderick Coffee 6'4" | SG Spire | 2022 State OH , 6’4 SG Spire 2022: Coffee fell off the radar a bit but a strong showing for Wildcats Select in 3SSB play reminded college coaches of his talent. I’m surprised more schools haven’t gotten in the mix for Coffee as to me he’s a no brainer Division I caliber prospect. Coffee has good size and can handle some primary ball-handling and play-making responsibilities.
Rich Rolf Rich Rolf 6'6" | PF Centerville | 2022 State OH , 6’6 PF Centerville 2022: Rolf had a nice summer with Midwest Basketball Club, as his rebounding ability is elite. Rolf also had some hot shooting games from the outside, occasionally leading his team in scoring. Rolf was actually originally committed to Drexel earlier in the fall but opted to re-open his recruitment at the start of October.
Jared Frey Jared Frey 6'5" | SG ISA | 2022 State OH , 6’5 SG ISA 2022: Frey left Hilliard Davidson for ISA and has scored 65 points in their last two games. Frey is one of the elite catch and shoot players in the state. We’ll see what teams recruit Frey as he had a lot of MAC interest as a Sophomore and Junior but hasn’t gotten any new offers since July of 2020.
