Pango’s All-East Frosh/Soph was filled with high-level talent, making it extremely hard to pick 60 players for the All-Star games. Some prospects had strong weekends at Pango’s, yet were still left out of the All-Star games. Here are some of the top snubs from the Pango’s All-East Frosh/Soph All-Star games.

[player_tooltip player_id="991425" first="Moses" last="Hipps"], 6’3 SG Archbishop Carroll 2024

Hipps’ exclusion from the All-Star game was surprising as he was able to demonstrate his ability to impact the game on the defensive end. The 6’3 guard has a clean shooting stroke and made opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. Hipps did more than just shoot as he was able to beat his defender off the bounce and score around the rim. He has a nice handle and rebounded the ball well over the weekend. Hipps is a scorer who will make a college team very happy with his ability to shoot from distance.

Jaiden Holloman, 5’8 PG Ludden Bishop 2025

Holloman was electric this weekend as he was consistently making plays. The 5’8 guard has a tight handle, which he used to break his defender down off the bounce and get to the rim. Holloman is a crafty finisher around the basket and drew contact with regularity. He made smart decisions with the ball in his hands and played solid on-ball defense. Holloman is a shifty floor general who should turn heads in his debut varsity season.

Isaiah Hynson, 6’4 SG Salesianum 2024

Hynson had an impressive showing on Sunday, making his exclusion from the All-Star games more surprising. The 6’4 guard attacked the basket with a purpose and did not mind drawing contact. Hynson was able to get to his spot in the half court and knock down open jumpers. He was a strong rebounder and made plays for his team on the defensive end when his team needed it most. Hynson is a hard-working guard prospect who does what it takes to win games.

[player_tooltip player_id="1213561" first="Brendan" last="Oliver"], 6’5 SF Newark Academy 2025

Oliver had a good showing at Pango’s All-East Frosh/Soph camp as he displayed his potential. The lanky 6’5 wing has a nice handle, which he used to bring the ball up the floor at times. Oliver has a nice release on his mid-range jumper and used his size to shoot over smaller defenders. He finished nicely around the basket and showed the potential to be a solid defender at the next level. Oliver is an intriguing wing prospect who should only get better as the years go by.

[player_tooltip player_id="1281772" first="Tristen" last="Guillouette"], 6’9 C St. Joseph’s Prep 2024

Guillouette had a good showing over the weekend and it should carry over into the 2021-22 season. The 6’9 post player knows how to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Guillouette set good screens in the half court and did not force many shots in the half court when he had the ball. He was tough to keep off the glass throughout the camp and made it difficult for opponents to score on him around the basket. Guillouette is starting to scratch the surface of his potential as he looks to gain more confidence with the ball in his hands.

Other Prospects to Know:

Alonso Easterling, 6'8 PF Fayetteville Academy 2024

DJ Snead, 6'0 PG Pennington 2025

Avery Sutton, 6'1 PG James Millhouse 2025

Izaah Cannon, 6'4 SG Olympus Prep 2024

Roel Figueroa, 6'0 PG Holyoke 2024
