During last year’s state championship presser, Allen’s high school coach called him a low-maintenance superstar, and it’s a perfect fit. Allen manages to score without having the ball in his hands for more than a few seconds. He’s a three level scorer, but when he plays with the Nightrydas, he does all of the little things to get a bucket. He runs the floor, knocks down open shots, and understands when to cut and when to spot up for shots. Allen impressed with his scoring around the rim against rim protection. He has touch, body control, and the strength to be a big-time finisher at the guard spot.

. Though he plays more off the ball with NightRydas, Allen also has the skills and playmaking ability to be a lead guard when called upon but can take over a game offensively too. His smooth jumper was on display all over the court last year and will continue to allow him to put up points that lead to success in the win column. With a very fluid motion in his jumper and a high release point, Allen has shown his shot making ability is a key part of his teams’ success, but don’t sleep on his slashing and finishing at the rim.

2023 stats: 20.5 PPG – 6.6 rebounds – 2.8 assists – 2.4 stealsA skilled and physical prospect that can dominate opposing defenders in the interior and rack up points in the scoring column. This kid can also explode and be violent at the rim with ferocious finishes. On the defensive end, he uses that athleticism to deter shots as a blocking component and paint beast. His recruitment has potential to take off.

The 6-5 junior wing used his physicality to his advantage where he got good looks around the rim in the first half. Allen finished with a team-high 16 points and knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the loss to Winter Haven. His ability to defend on-the-ball was a focal point in his game where he didn’t give up much penetration. His court vision offensively to get his teammates involved continued to improve as he dished out some key assists whether they came on the swing pass or off the dribble-drives.

The 6-4 junior wing is the ultimate competitor and plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor. He is a skilled passer when it comes to getting his teammates involved as well as play with a ton of athleticism on the glass. His ability to run the floor in transition has expanded where he can score off the catch as well as off the bounce. He currently holds offers from Creighton, Florida Gulf Coast, Illinois, LSU, Michigan and several others as he’s emerged as a top prospect for his class.

The 6-4 small forward has been buzzing since his freshman season and has continued to improve his all-around game. Allen does a great job finishing around the rim as well as rebound sensationally well on both ends of the floor. He is very alert on the defensive end and has a knack where he can guard out on the perimeter or inside the paint. On the offensive end, Allen plays with a high IQ on whether to shoot versus pass the basketball. Look for Allen to continue to gain more college coaches interest as we gear into the season.
