David Gardner | Prep Hoops Scout
Odvody has a big frame and runs the floor well, working hard for positioning and boxing out. He is strong on the glass and is quick to go back up with putbacks. As a stretch big, he can hit threes and draw defenders out of the lane, creating opportunities for his guards to penetrate. A true “Hard Hat” player, his relentless work ethic and versatility will undoubtedly open scouts’ eyes.

Odvody’s stretching the floor capabilities and defensive presence were pivotal for the Warriors. Knocking down two threes from long distance and showcasing rim-protecting skills, he proved to be a versatile asset. His high basketball IQ and positioning on the floor were evident in his performance, solidifying his role as a key contributor to the Warriors.

Tyson Odovdy had a nice summer with Nebraska Supreme . At 6’7, Odvody is super mobile and active down low. When he gets good position, it is almost a guaranteed two points. In addition, Odvody’s length and timing make him an effective shot blocker. While he did not see much time in his Sophomore season at Omaha Westside due to the talent on the roster, I am sure he will have a much larger role this season with the Warriors. Look for him to have a breakout Junior year.

is one of the bigs on this Nebraska Supreme squad. He is very physical and uses his body very well down low. Odvody has a nice touch around the rim, especially with his right hand. He runs the floor very well for his size, and is mobile on the perimeter. Odvody is a hard worker defensively too, and a very solid rebounder. Look for his stock to continue to grow the rest of the summer, and into next year with Omaha Westside, as he will have a much bigger role on one of the top teams in Class A.
