Deacon Courtney Deacon Courtney 6'7" | PF Ralston | 2025 State NE | 6’7 PF | Ralston/OSA Adidas Gold (pictured)
Courtney is a very mobile big with a lot of length. He uses his length to his advantage on both ends of the floor. He displayed his rebounding and put back ability well at the Top 250 Expo. Very able rebounder both offensively and defensively. He was often able to grab his own rebound and finish a putback for points. Can handle it if need and is not afraid to shoot it from the perimeter. Interior defense is a big upside about his game. More often then not he plays straight up, blocks shots, and boxes out.
Trinell Parker Trinell Parker 6'7" | PF Creighton Prep | 2025 State NE | 6’6 F | Creighton Prep/NRE
Parker is another big with some length and some mobility. More of a pure post scorer. Lot of strong takes and hooks through and over smaller bigs. Keeps the ball high and elevates on finishes as well. Utilizes that length and mobility well on the defensive end. Keeps guards contained on switches, gets good contests on shots, and rebounds very well. Very active hands on dribble drives and passes.
Leyton Snodgrass | 6’5 W/F | York/ Lincoln Supreme Nat. 1
Snodgrass is another mobile forward in this class. He could fall into the wing category as well with his athleticism and shot making ability. Plays a lot of two feet down low, followed up with strong finishes, although he can get crafty with them when needed. If he does draw two he can kick it out. Confident shooter that will light you up if you don’t step up, and will knock down the open three. Aggressive rebounder on both ends with the ability to grab and go.
Tyson Odvody Tyson Odvody 6'7" | PF Omaha Westside | 2025 State NE | 6’6 F | Omaha Westside/ETG Midwest
Odvody has a lot of things to like in his game. Starting on the offensive end in the interior, strong finisher that will initiate contact, finishes on the other side when needed, can convert on some tough shots down low as well. Knocks down the mid range jump shot more often then not. He runs the floor well getting some easy layups. Very good rebounder and shot blocker. Keeps his footing on the defensive end on the interior and communicates well.
Brock Scholl Brock Scholl 6'8" | PF Skutt Catholic | 2025 State NE | 6’7 F | Skutt Catholic/ETG Midwest
Really like what I saw out of half court from Scholl this summer. Finishes above the rim but isn’t afraid to get into a defender and finish through them. Very impressive vision as a big man and very unselfish. Finds cutters and had a backside swing pass that impressed me. Really gets after it on the defensive boards, utilizing his size and reach. Able shot blocker as well on the interior and gets good contests on guard floaters and mid ranges.
