Make sure to check out all of the positional breakdowns that have been done. These seniors are deserving of college interest and can help college programs win.
Jacob Conner Jacob Conner 6'7" | PF Alter | 2022 State OH , 6’7 PF Kettering Alter 2022: Conner had almost 20 offers before finally picking Marshall to attend after his senior season. Conner is a skinny PF who prefers to play on the perimeter. Conner is an excellent passer from the PF position, it’s defiantly his best skill. Conner will need to bulk up and get tougher on the inside to survive of college basketball, but he’s capable of putting on the necessary weight. There’s a lot of upside with Conner’s game and it will be interesting to monitor his development throughout his collegiate career.
Jagger Landers Jagger Landers 6'7" | PF Antwerp | 2022 State OH , 6’7 PF Antwerp 2022: Landers is one of the premier small school prospects in the state and has helped Antwerp become one of the best Division IV programs in Ohio. Landers impressed with Indy Heat-Red, as the only Ohio prospect on the squad. Landers can shoot the ball from the outside at a high level and has a college ready frame. Division II programs seem to love Landers, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a low major program throws an offer at Landers. Regardless of the level he chooses, I expect Landers to be a productive college basketball player.
Sean Craig Sean Craig 6'6" | PF Sylvania Northview | 2022 State OH , 6’7 PF Northview 2022: I’m not sure any Division I first team all state prospect has gone more under the radar than Craig. Maybe it’s because he’s from Toledo that in the past couple years hasn’t had the elite programs as other areas of the state. That changed this summer as Craig shined for Bates Fundamentals-Red. Craig’s impressive play earned him a Division I offer from St Francis (PA) and a couple Division II offers as well. I’m glad that he got the publicity and offers that he deserved this summer as he helped his team win a high percentage of their games this spring/summer.
Louie Semona Louie Semona 6'7" | PF St Xavier | 2022 State OH , 6’7 PF St Xavier 2022: Semona was awesome in my first ever in person viewing of him when St Xavier defeated Huber Heights Wayne in the district title game. Semona impressed me playing off of Kobe Rogers as a Junior and is now expected to be the main guy during his senior season. Semona plays for excellent coaches at both the high school and grassroots level and this experience should make him ready for whatever college basketball throws at him. I’m very interested to see how Semona handles the increased scoring workload this season, St Xavier doesn’t have the guard creation it had last year.
Jayden Nervis Jayden Nervis 6'6" | PF Hilliard Davidson | 2022 State OH , 6’6 PF Hilliard Davidson 2022: I was super excited to watch Nervis and Hilliard Davidson next season, but with Jared Frey Jared Frey 6'5" | SG ISA | 2022 State OH announcing he was transferring to ISA, I’m less optimistic about their chances to win a district title. Nervis and Peyton Frey Peyton Frey 6'5" | PF Hilliard Davidson | 2023 State OH were forming one of the better forward duos in central Ohio. Frey is more patient and looks to shoot from the outside, while Nervis is explosive and wants to attack the basket. This summer I also thought Nervis was improving as a shot-maker as well. With Jared Frey Jared Frey 6'5" | SG ISA | 2022 State OH out of the picture, it could lead to more opportunities for Nervis to show what he can do with the ball in his hands.
Jacob Pleiman Jacob Pleiman 6'6" | PF Botkins | 2022 State OH , 6’6 PF Botkins 2022: A state champion in the spring and a stock riser in the summer, Pleiman has been playing some excellent basketball as of late. Pleiman plays with an excellent motor and is always battling for rebounds. Pleiman is a much improved outside shooter as well, knocking down 24 3-pointers in five games one weekend. Division II programs have taken a strong interest in Pleiman, but he’s only posted one offer from Gannon on his social media. More programs should be offering Pleiman in the fall and winter if he remains uncommitted.
