About Drew
Expert Analysis
Adam Bartoshevich | Prep Hoops Scout
A 2nd team all-conference returner for the Knights, Braam is taking the conference by storm this year. He leads the conference in scoring with 27.7 points per game. He’s a nightly double-double but also growing as a playmaker, showing signs of making the right reads and simple passes. Braam is the reason the Knights are out to a 2-1 start. He’s a physical low post player that creates and finishes through contact. He generates a lot of free throw attempts. Against Bay View, Braam shot 14-18 from the charity stripe. Although Braam is an early conference standout, he was the state’s top linebacker this past football season and is taking his talents to the University of Wisconsin to play under Coach Fickell.

Oak Creek came up short against Dominican, but the D1 football commit still managed to impress. He’s such a physical presence when he looks to catch inside, and it allows him to play much bigger than his height. He could back guys down into deep position and then just finish over the top with a hook shot. Drew is a lot more skilled than I knew as well, scoring from all three levels and showing some craft off the dribble. Was able to spin into a turnaround jumper, beat his man all the way to the rim, and even pull-up from range. Finished with 28 points against one of the state’s top D3 teams.
