Washington Player of the Week (1/16-1/20)
Marcus Austin (Seattle Academy)
The 2018 6-3 guard filled the stat sheet up on both sides of the ball in a win against Overlake. He scored 17 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out nine assists, and had nine steals in the win. Austin also scored 13 points and had another seven assists in a win against Bush.
Drew Bryson (Arlington)
The 6-2 senior guard put up 30 points, secured eight rebounds, and provided seven assists in a win against Snohomish. Bryson is averaging 23 points and 6.6 rebounds per game this season.
Erwin Weary Jr. (Cedar Park Christian Mountlake Terrace)
In a blowout win, Weary, the 2018 guard dropped 41 points, had 15 rebounds and dished out seven assists. He has now scored 40 points in four different games this season.
Colby Kyle (Monroe)
The lone big man on the list had a very nice week. In a win against Jackson the 6-7 2018 forward scored 11 points and had nine rebounds. But his huge game was in a win against Mariner, where he dropped 22 points and grabbed 20 rebounds.
Mahlik Hall (Kent-Meridian)
Even though his team lost against Kentwood, the 6-1 2018 guard scored a ridiculous 39 points and is now averaging over 22 points per game this season.
