Washington Player of the Week (1/9-1/13)
Keegan Crosby (Nathan Hale)
The small forward dropped 30 points against his former team, Bishop Blanchet this week. Without Michael Porter Jr., the Roughriders needed a spark and Crosby provided that in the blowout 83-48 victory.
Jaylen Nowell (Garfield)
Against rival Rainier Beach, Nowell scored 25 points, grabbed 10 boards, and dished out five assists. Even though his team lost 64-60, the University of Washington commit showed why he’s one of the top players in the state.
Davien Harris-Williams (Clover Park)
Harris-Williams, the 2018 guard scored a season high 40 points in a 75-67 win against Eatonville. He hit 10 three pointers and has led his team to a 5-4 conference record.
AJ Martinka (Stanwood)
The senior forward put up 26 first half points and 29 total points in a win against Shorewood, and followed up that impressive game with 14 points in a 95-45 rout against Lynwood. Martinka will look to keep the sixth ranked Spartans rolling next week.
RaeQuan Battle (Marysville-Pilchuck)
Battle, the 2019 guard led his squad to a 62-60 victory against Shorewood by dropping 26 points. Earlier in the week he also scored 26 points in a loss to Shorecrest.
