Lewis was his cool, calm, and collected self in Attucks’ tough loss vs Lawrence North Friday night. When it comes to true lead guards that can be great playmakers, Lewis has always been that for the Tigers and Friday night further proved how good he can be at his role. Thought he made some tough plays around the basket and was very good on the defensive end as well. He was a true ‘quarterback’ of this team all season and was a big part of the success they had this year. He finished last night with 10 pts.

The Crispus Attucks Tigers are rolling this season like many thought they would and a big part of that has been the play of senior lead guard

. Lewis is sort of a “do-it-all” type of guard that can either be a facilitator or get a bucket if needed. He plays with great pace on the ball and can get in the paint consistently off the dribble finishing in a variety of ways with floaters and layups. He has made a case as one of the best in-state transfers this season and has almost been the missing piece for this Attucks team. One of the best lead guards in the Indianapolis City Tournament.

This was one of the best games Lewis has had since transferring to Crispus Attucks. He led all scorers with 16 points and did so in many ways on the ball. His leadership as a senior guard was shown many times throughout the game with his pacing and playmaking ability. Center Grove had a hard time keeping him out of the paint and that is mostly due to his strong first step and ability to create on the ball. Great game for the senior guard.

Lewis scored a team-leading 16 points to help bring Crispus Attucks back from behind to defeat Center Grove 53-46. The dynamic senior point guard played with great pace throughout the game, got into the paint consistently off of the dribble, and finished in a variety of ways with floaters and layups. He is starting to get comfortable in his new home leading the Tigers offense at the point guard position.
