<p>Prep Hoops took in the SCISA Class 3A Quarterfinals yesterday at the Sumter Civic Center. Lets take a look at the results and some tidbits before diving into all the action right here. </p>
<p>Porter Gaud defeated Hammond in the opener 61-43. The Cyclones playing its first road game of the season moved to (10-0) on the season under Head Coach John Pearson. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="536360" first="Mason" last="Grant"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1038350" first="Denham" last="Wojcik"]</strong> a Harvard commitment led the way for the Cyclones. Grant a UNSIGNED Senior with great academics in the classroom finished with 22 points while Wojcik scored 19 points. </p>
<p><strong>Drew Bobo</strong> playing in his last game for the Skyhawks finished with 14 points. Bobo a Power 5 Football recruit is the son of former University of South Carolina Football Coach Mike Bobo who is now on the staff at Auburn. </p>

<p>Northwood Academy and Cardinal Newman went back and forth all game long before the Chargers pulled away with a 71-65 victory. Cardinal Newman had won the past 2 SCISA State Championships played its last game with [player_tooltip player_id="536316" first="<strong>Joshua" last="Beadle</strong>"]. Beadle a fixture on the Cardinals roster since a 8th grader will play at Clemson next season. Beadle finished with 17 points. Fellow UNSIGNED Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840209" first="Silas" last="Christie"]</strong> led the way with 21 points for the Cardinals. Christie was very efficient around the cup all night long with his activity. The Cardinals finished the year at (8-7). </p>

<p>The Chargers were led by <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1102966" first="Keyshawn" last="Birch"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840222" first="Caleb" last="Houston"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927556" first="Cyrus" last="Birch"]</strong>. This UNSIGNED Senior trio for Anthony Houston helped the Chargers move to Friday night and semifinals to play rival Porter Gaud. [player_tooltip player_id="1102966" first="<strong>Keyshawn" last="Birch</strong>"] came up big time after time for the Chargers on his way to 25 points. Houston who scored over 1,500 career points this year finished with 15 points while point guard [player_tooltip player_id="927556" first="<strong>Cyrus" last="Birch</strong>"] scored 12 points. The Chargers move to (9-6) on the year. </p>
<p>Augusta Christian won on a game winner by freshman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1131156" first="Elijah" last="Crawford"]</strong> to push the Lions past First Baptist 64-61. Crawford led the way with The Lions (13-10) move into the semifinals on Friday night. Crawford the highly confident freshman finished with 17 points while <strong>Tray Moseley</strong> added 13 points, <strong>Johnny O’Keefe</strong> 12 points and<strong> Luke Wilson</strong> chipped in with 8 points and 5 blocks. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="837322" first="Colin" last="McKenzie"] </strong>led the Hurricanes with 26 points while teammate <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1106608" first="Adonis" last="Cole"]</strong> scored 20 points. The Hurricanes finished the season at (11-8). </p>

<p>The nightcap went down to the wire with Trinity Collegiate holding off a feisty Ben Lippen Falcons 55-52. <strong> [player_tooltip player_id="746063" first="Tre" last="McLeod"]</strong> led a balanced Titans squad with 12 points,<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="837320" first="Lebron" last="Thomas"]</strong> added 11 points<strong>, [player_tooltip player_id="1061081" first="Bewan" last="Balle Bonza"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1138905" first="Griffin" last="Folse"]</strong> both chipped in with 9 points while <strong>Dalon</strong> <strong>Edwards</strong> scored 8 points. The Titans move to (12-4) on the year. </p>

Hartzog a UNSIGNED Senior connected on 6 three pointers tonight. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976905" first="Porter" last="Stanley"]</strong> finished his career with 6 points while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1108264" first="Beltran" last="Portugues Huertas"]</strong> finished with just 2 points. The Falcons have several UNSIGNED Seniors that played their last game this evening. Ben Lippen finishes the season at (13-7). </p>
