Standout Performances
Coleton Benson Coleton Benson 6'1" | SG Austin Bowie | 2021 State TX | SG | Bowie (2021)
Benson led Bowie to an opening-round victory over a stingy Round Rock Westwood defense by hitting clutch shots and scoring a game-high 24 points. The senior sharpshooter caught fire in the fourth quarter tallying 13 points which sealed the win for the Bulldogs. Benson, an Army commit, plays with relentless energy and has an attacking mindset on offense where he is a threat to score each time he touches the ball.
Jailen Bedford Jailen Bedford 6'4" | SG Hutto | 2022 State TX | SG | Hutto (2021)
Bedford has been a consistent name mentioned in our standout performance articles this season thanks to his great play, and his performance of a game-high 23 points in Hutto’s win over Lake Travis matched what we’ve seen this season. A great athlete who plays fast on the court, Bedford continued to be a difference-maker on offense with his mid-range jumper, while improving on his three-point shot and knocking down 3-of-5 from beyond-the-arc against the Cavaliers.
William Fievre | SG | Cedar Ridge (2022)
Despite the tough loss to Westlake, Fievre had a terrific performance where he led all scorers with 22 points. The 6’2″ junior guard showed good range knocking down 4 three-pointers in the contest, with several being catch-and-shoot opportunities with pressure in his face. Fievre’s scoring ability kept the Raiders in the game against the talented state-ranked Chaparrals.
Joseph Waring Joseph Waring 6'6" | SF Georgetown | 2022 State TX | SF | Georgetown (2022)
The leading scorer for Georgetown in their win over Alamo Heights, Waring netted 18 points and provided a boost on the boards and on defense. A 6’5″ small forward with good length and strength, Waring showed off his range hitting a corner three-pointer against the Mules and was tough to handle around the basket.

| PF | Lake Travis (2021)
Jacob’s skill set was on full display in the matchup versus Hutto, scoring 17 points in three quarters of play before fouling out early in the fourth quarter. The 6’8″ senior forward stretched the floor with his deep-range shooting ability and quick release, while also providing a spark of energy on defense creating turnovers off steals and a blocked shot.
Jackson Johnston | PF | Kerrville Tivy (2023)
A 6’7″ forward with terrific length, Johnston had a breakout sophomore season for Tivy and put up a solid performance of 15 points in their loss to Leander Glenn. Johnston is a player to keep an eye on moving forward for the 2023 class as he brings a nice combination of size and athletic ability.
