Chris Harris Wins Player of the Week

Congratulations to Lake Forest Academy 2017 shooting guard Chris Harris on winning the PrepHoopsIllinois Player of the Week Award! Harris garned 51.4% of the total which was 10,155 votes. He narrowly defeated Ridgewood’s Zac Rzewnicki with 8,323 votes. Harris earned the nomination with his stellar three game week. Against Libertyville he had 32 points. Followed that up with 34 points and 6 rebounds playing Case Western Reserve. Finished off the week with a 30 point and 8 rebound performance. He is a powerfully built guard with quickness and uses his bounce in the transition game as a finisher. Stretches the defense on occasion with a three ball which has improved over the last year. Plus perimeter defender that locks down his man. Played more of a glue role for the Illinois Wolves on the circuit. Putting up monster numbers early in season. Unsigned senior.
