Raising their stock as a prospect is a big goal for many of the athletes in attendance. There were many that did just that on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Top 250. We will look at some stock risers that I saw at the event.
Take a look at some more Top 250 coverage below:
Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo: 2024 MOP
Jayden Alfred Jayden Alfred 6'3" | SF Mancelona | 2021 State MI (2021, 6-4 G/F, Mancelona)
Alfred has spent some time underranked, but scouts and coaches are coming along. He’s an athletic player that can score in transition and plays aggressively in the half court.
Trey Bolling Trey Bolling 6'7" | C East Grand Rapids | 2021 State MI (2021, 6-7, F/C, East Grand Rapids)
Bolling is a rising post star in the state. College coaches will want to get in on him ASAP. He works hard for position in low post.
Jeremiah Henderson (2022, G, Communication Arts & Media)
Henderson is a perimeter talent with a nice looking game. Good handles and quick feet on both ends are big parts of his success.
Daveon Hall (2024, 6-1, G, Bradord Academy)
Hall is definitely on the radar in the class of 2024. He was a dynamic lead guard on Sunday that was able to pass teammates open. There were a lot of buckets that came via a pass on a string from Hall.
Rafael Murrey (2021, 5-8, G, Walled Lake Central)
Murray may be a bit undersized but his speed and ability to play through and around defenders more than make up for it. He can push the ball in transition with the dribble.
Reed Schilling Reed Schilling 6'6" | PF Flushing | 2021 State MI (2021, 6-5, F, Flushing)
Schilling will be an excellent addition to a college team. The bouncy 6-5 forward is relentless on the glass and can score off put backs and 2 dribble drives from the high post.
James Weaver (2024, G, River Rouge)
The next generation in River Rouge has arrived. Weaver is super athletic and a known gym rat. Sky is the limit based on what I saw at the Top 250.
Ashad Walker (2021, 6-1, G, Berkley)
Want a break out season candidate? Here you go. Walker is a versatile scorer that could really blow up next high school season.
