| Draquan Conley | Power Forward | Brewer High School |
Conley was a top-notch athletic forward with the most impressive physical tools there, he has big hands, good speed up and down the court, a strong build, broad shoulders, and a wide frame. Draquan looked like a complete power forward out there. Offensively, he showed the ability to get his own shot, Conley handled the rock and attacked to the basket where looked to punch it in, showing off some impressive athleticism. Stretched the floor effectively by popping out and spreading the court out near the three-point line for a spot-up jumper. This young man showed and proved that he can play and defend the post or go out to play on the wing. Conley can run the floor like no other, he loves to hustles down the court for a chase-down block, he did an outstanding job of protecting the rim and rejecting shots at their peak. Draquan Conley was a new name for me until this event, but he definitely somebody to follow this season at Brewer High School.
| Aiden Teneyck Aiden Teneyck 6'5" | SG Byron Nelson | 2022 State TX | Shooting Guard/Small Forward | Byron Nelson |
Aiden Teneyck Aiden Teneyck 6'5" | SG Byron Nelson | 2022 State TX is one of those high potential guys, he has a raw all-around skill set that allows him to be any type of player he wants to be, he could be a scorer, a rebounder, a defender, or a high-level facilitator and playmaker. Aiden knows how to be effective with and without the ball, displaying a good basketball IQ that is only going to continue to develop. He has a feel for the game that just can’t be taught, he’s so productive, always finding a way to make a difference on the floor. He’s not the most athletic and can really benefit from strengthening his body, but he’s very fundamentally sound and has such great length that it makes him difficult to keep out of the lane. Aiden Teneyck Aiden Teneyck 6'5" | SG Byron Nelson | 2022 State TX proved that he can beat athletic players with the basics of the game, and if he continues to put the work in he’ll be a big-time offensive threat by the 2022 season.
| Marlon Carrington | Shooting Guard | South Hills High School |
Marlon Carrington is a must-know name, not only was he one of the biggest standouts on the floor, but he’s also coming off of a sophomore season where his play earned him the 5A District Offensive MVP award. Marlon’s an excellent two-way player who’s usually known for his scoring abilities, but during this combine, his defense is what stood out over everything else. He communicated on the defensive end well, was very visual, seeing everything happening and calling it out. Marlon has good, quick hands that disrupted plenty of plays, that along with his length gave ball handlers and shooter fits, he displayed an impressive ability to block shots and poke the ball loose without fouling. Every time a shot went up, Carrington did a great job of putting his body in front of his man, even if he didn’t get the rebound his box-out gave his teammates the chance to get it. The tremendous amount of effort he gave showed his potential to be a true lockdown defender. Marlon Carrington was one of the top-performing players during competitive games, making impactful plays on both offense and defense.
