#71 Kamell Smith Kamell Smith 6'4" | CG Eastern Guilford | 2021 State NC | 6’4 Guard/Wing | Carolina COBRAS (Eastern Guilford)
Smith finds himself among the Top 100 prospects after a productive high school season and grassroots season. He likes to get downhill and finish from the wing whenever possible. He’s even more electric on the defensive end, putting pressure on the ball and altering shots at the rim. He’s a prospect that’s already gained attention on the football field by colleges and is due to make waves on the hardwood as well.
#73 Peyton Gerald Peyton Gerald 6'8" | PF Ardrey Kell | 2021 State NC | 6’7 Forward/Wing | Anthony Morrow Elite (Ardrey Kell)
Gerald is a versatile forward prospect that’s relentless at finishing around the rim. He doesn’t shy away from contact in the post and looks for the physicality down low. He uses his length well to finish with authority and maintain position in the post. He hasn’t tapped into his wing game completely but defensively, he’s mobile enough to guard multiple positions in the frontcourt and backcourt.
#75 Brock Bowen Brock Bowen 5'11" | CG Weddington | 2021 State NC | 5’11 Guard | CC Elite 2022-2021 (Weddington)
Bowen is a scrappy guard that finds himself in the Top 100 after a strong conclusion to the summer grassroots season with CC Elite 2022-2021. He was able to get after it on the defensive end and make plays on the break for his squad while also showing he could stroke it from deep. He was a standout at Big Shots Carolina Live knocking down seven 3-pointers and finishing atop the division in 3-pointers made. He’ll be a sharpshooter to keep an eye on in 2020-21.
#82 Ryan Maslow Ryan Maslow 6'5" | SF Fuquay Varina | 2021 State NC | 6’5 Forward | Garner Road Whitley (Fuquay-Varina)
Maslow is another emerging forward in the 2021 class that came along with Garner Road Whitley this summer grassroots season. He’s a long and active forward that can get after it in a hurry in the paint. He does well getting position in the post and making opponents pay as he did on numerous occasions on the Big Shots stage this summer.
#91 Jameel Brooks Jameel Brooks 6'8" | PF Moravian Prep | 2021 State NC | 6’8 Forward | Carolina Pressure Basketball (Moravian Prep)
Brooks is a new face in the state making the move from York Prep (SC) to Moravian Prep, where he’ll certainly boost their frontcourt. He was a familiar face with Carolina Pressure Basketball as a mobile forward that runs the floor and can finish around the rim, often with authority. He’ll be a breakout prospect to keep an eye on in this class.
#96 Eric Wynn Eric Wynn 6'9" | C Wilson Prep | 2021 State NC | 6’8 Forward | Garner Road Whitley (Wilson Prep)
Wynn was another Garner Road Whitley prospect that shined on the summer grassroots stage. He turned heads during the high school season at Wilson Prep but he’s really come on a lot more as a presence in the paint. He runs the floor with purpose and finishes with authority whenever possible in the paint. He’s another breakout prospect to keep an eye on in this class.
