6’0 SG Will Bain of El Capital HS (2023)

Bain is a two guard with a solid all-around game offensively. He brings a lot of different things to the table.

He’s a capable ball handler who has a pull-up game in the half court. He has a little burst and a nice hesitation move and can get to the basket on the drive.

Bain is a good shooter who has 3-point range and he has a very impressive floater.

He probably does need to show more at the defensive end.

But he definitely belongs on the radar in the class of 2023 as a solid prospect.

5’11 SG Solomon Berhane of Wilcox HS (2021)

Berhane is an athletic two guard with a versatile all-around game. He can contribute in a lot of different ways.

He’s a confident ball handler who is very effective pulling up in transition. He moves well without the ball in the half court and he is a fairly good 3-point shooter.

Berhane also has a good first step on the drive and a nice floater shot.

He is a capable defender who will stay in a stance and guard the ball.

Berhane does a lot of things that college coaches need and want and they should take notice.

5’9 PG Vince Burkes of Wilcox HS (20221)

Burkes is a real athletic one man with a nice burst who is effective in transition.

He’s a solid ball handler and a good passer who finds the open man. He pushes the break consistently and he can go coast to coast and finish.

In the half court Burkes has a solid mid-range pull-up game. He has a nice hesitation burst and can break down defenders one on one. He probably does need to prove himself more as a perimeter shooter.

Burkes is a solid on-ball defender who does a nice job pressuring the opponent.

This kid is a legitimate prospect for the next level.

6’6 PF Goodwyn Dickson of Prolific Prep (2021)

Dickson is a hard-working four man who gives it all he has at both ends.

He’s a decent ball-handler who can dribble operate on the block. He can post up some but needs to develop a go-to move.

Dickson is not afraid to be physical and will battle in” the trenches”

He can rebound in his box (area) and is very aggressive going after the ball.

Dickson shows promise as an “enforcer” type of player.

Dukes is a very promising young prospect in 2023 with a bright future which coaches need to take notice of.

6’0 G/W Isaiah Frazier of Wilcox HS (2021)

Frazier is real athletic guard/wing (without a true position) who gets a whole lot done and can really impact the game.

He handles it fairly well and is a good passer who makes a lot of plays in transition and has the ability to pull up at the end of the break or finish with a floater.

He is a good driver who can get to the basket and finish strongly.

Frazier is active and aggressive as an on-ball defender and works very hard at it. He can create some havoc for the opponent. He can guard all three perimeter positions.

If a college coach doesn’t get hung up on what position he is then Frazier will be a good fit.

6’2 G/W Johann Hillzeck of Mariposa HS (2023)

Hillzeck is an active guard/wing who runs the floor well.

He is competent ball handler and a real good passer who shows versatility as a scorer. He can finish at the end of the break. He has a deceptive first step and can get to the basket on the drive.

Hillzeck has a solid floater and shows some ability to post up with a clever up and under move.

He is a good rebounder who finds ways to get to the ball through effort and smarts.

And best of all he has a good motor that is always running.

Hillzeck will play at the next level with how high he goes to be determined.

6’3 W Anthony Mendez of Golden Valley HS (2021)

Mendez is a very competitive wing who makes the all-effort team for sure. He is the definition of a hustler who spends a lot of time diving on the floor after loose balls.

He is physical and aggressive and he will step in and take charge willingly.

And Mendez has ability to go along with his maximum effort. He can handle it and finish in transition. He’s a good passer who is unselfish. He is really active and moves well without it.

Mendez is a good set shooter with long range. He has a slow release, but he can knock them down with regularity.

He is a solid defender who really understand help concepts and is also a high-volume rebounder.

College coaches- this is a great guy to have on your side…

6’6 C [player_tooltip player_id="946532" first="Harry" last="Nauci"] of Santa Clara HS (2021)

Nauci is a strong, big-body postman with a solid all-around game.

He has good hands and he can score in a variety of ways. He has a one-bounce drive and can finish in traffic. He has a solid drop step move and nice no-jump hook on the block.

Nauci shoots it ok and does have 3 range to stretch the defense. He moves ok without it and is active around the basket.

He is a high-volume rebounder (in traffic) who consistently goes after the ball and a willing defender.

Nauci is a solid college prospect for sure.

6’2 CG [player_tooltip player_id="950918" first="Tyler" last="Parr"] of Atwater HS (2023)

Parr is a combo guard with high IQ who understands how to play and he has some ability to go along with his smarts.

He has solid ball handling and passing skills and he sees the floor really well on the break. He can make plays for himself and others.

Parr is a good set shooter with long range who takes good shots. He has a competent floater and he can get to the basket on the drive.

He really understands team/help defense well and he finds ways to come up with rebounds.

Parr definitely belongs on the radar as a 2023 college prospect.

6’0 CG Pratnav Sharma of Wilcox HS (2020)

Sharma is an intelligent and confident combo guard who plays with a lot of energy.

He has a high IQ and seems to have knack for making the right play.

He can handle and pass it and he can make plays on the break for himself and others.

Sharma pulls up ok in the half court, finds a way to the hoop on the drive and shoots it fairly well with 3-range.

This kid can be a solid addition to a team at the next level.
