For Drive Nation 17U Keyonte George Keyonte George 6'5" | SG IMG Academy | 2022 State #4 Nation FL scored an efficient 16 points to lead all scorers in a dominant team win. BMM’s Cruz Davis Cruz Davis 6'3" | PG Huntington Prep | 2022 WV drained 3 of 5 threes en route to a double digit scoring game. But this series isn’t about the names in the marquee but the surrounding guys that really make their teams work.
Kamryn Waites
At 6-10 nearly 300 pounds, it’s the obvious size and strength you first see when you look at the 2021 product. After watching a few possessions, his spry feet make an enormous difference between him and most bigs his size. It translates to his post game that’s smashed its way through the first leg of The Circuit League’s matchups. A sequence that lead to Waites putting the ball on the deck for two was a surprising use of his quickness and massive hands.

A lot of Cofer’s game starts with his 6-4 200 pound frame. The size helps him on both sides of the floor, making him an adept defender at the point of attack and a massive dribble drive threat. Cofer is strong enough to get through picks and repel defenders when going downhill. When pressured, his tight handle activates revealing a calm lead guard. With a steady jumper intact, the rising senior shakes the trend of bigger guards that struggle with their shot.
Thibaut Tagnon
Tagnon shot 40% from three in this game and didn’t drop too much lower than that percentage over a four game span. Both of his made threes were off picks and a foot or two behind college three point line. The shooting extends to his midrange game that he uses to attack closeouts. The six footer has great footwork going into his jumper.
