Azari Woods | 5’9″ PG | Manvel HS [Houston Raptors-Benjamin 17U] ’21 as seen in the picture.
Azari played really well all weekend long. A quick first step point guard that has good floor vision. He gets to the rim and draws a lot of fouls. He creates for his teammates and is a tough on-ball defender. His solid play led his team to a 2-2 record on the weekend with him running the show.
Orlando Horton Orlando Horton PG Clear Falls | 2023 TX | 5’8″ PG | Clear Falls HS [Houston Hoops E15] ’23
He was one of the top pass first points that played this weekend. The small guard has a quick first step and despite his size at his young age, he is a tough on-ball defender against big and small guards alike. He was a blur at times and made some tough passes look really easy. A true floor general who understands the game and understands everyone’s role on the floor.
Imo Essien Imo Essien 6'0" | PG Bishop Lynch | 2021 State TX | 6’0″ PG | Bishop Lynch HS [Texas Impact UA] ’21
Imo was cooking with the good grease this weekend. He was very consistent with his play game after game. He was breaking down defenders like a knife cutting through butter. He scored on every level and showcased a very tough pull-up game. Shifty guard that plays with a high motor and multiple speeds within the offensive sets.
Kobe Wiggins Kobe Wiggins 5'9" | PG Wylie | 2021 State TX | 5’9″ PG | Wylie HS [Team FOE 17U] ’21
Kobe was a tough assignment this weekend. He has a mean floater game and he gets to the cup a ton as well as finishes over the much bigger defenders. He is a small scoring point that can also facilitate the basketball. Big time motor that never dies. He was very consistent in his game and showed up in the championship game as well.
Adam Kirby | 5’8″ PG | Woodrow Wilson HS [Triumph 16U Gold] ’22
Adam isn’t the biggest prospect on the court but he definitely leaves a big impression. He is a really talented guard that has the quickness and great speed with the ball in his hands. He is more of a scorer than a facilitator, but if he plays more of a facilitating role that has the ability to score the ball as the last option he is a D2 prospect. He was knocking down big jumpers and getting to the rim with ease at times. Good off-ball player as well.
