Surge brought big-time energy to the camp and was an influential player simply with his effort on both ends. He made quick moves off the catch, didn't take any pause in switching from offense to defense, and was ready to pick up full court which led to some turnovers and gave his team life. Washington was one of the smoother scorers at the event. He showed the ability to cash in from each level, and was pretty confident and controlled when picking his spots and getting where he wanted to go. A lot of that was due to his strength with the ball. He was able to separate in the midrange, go to a post up game closer in, and could hold defenders off on his drives. Displayed some great touch too and has the look of a natural scorer. Loved to see him bring energy on the defensive end in spots too, where he was able to help shift momentum and get his teammates to pick up their efforts.
