He was terrific last season leading his team and the entire division in assists. There were a few guards who were right around his numbers but this year Moran takes the league assist crown plus scores more than he ever has before. This unsigned Senior is ready to take off, he's got tons of support around him plus the entire program believes he can take them right back to the title game.

Croom really impressed as a Sophomore for Van Buren and helped them put together a great season. He's an athletic scorer, he can defend, create for others and he's an elite rebounder for a guard. This team needs his physicality, length, leadership, hustle and passion for winning. Expect a big year.

Mauricio is only a name you know if you follow the PSAL or are an NYC hoops junkie. He averaged over 17 points a game over the last two seasons, he showed tremendous consistency, he was positive every time he was on the floor plus has the green light. His offensive game continues to expand, he's active on the boards, improving as a defender and is quickly turning himself into a college prospect.

Leon has seen so many talented guards come through this program and as he enters Senior year he has become one himself. He's developing from just a three point shooter into a complete three level scorer that can help defensively. Eagle BK will need his energy, floor spacing, leadership and stability. When this Senior is focused on the goal of winning and avoids the non sense on the court he's one of the deadliest shooters in the country.

Washington was solid as a Sophomore but last year really took his game to the next level. This season the gloves are off, he should lead the Brooklyn/Staten Island II in scoring and be one of the most dangerous guards in the entire PSAL. The scouts would like to see him embrace a little more of a facilitator role at times to pair with the scoring but his defense as well as his constant hustle makes up for that. He checks off a lot of boxes, he loves to compete, he's coachable and still ascending as a prospect.

Uzzle is a very athletic guard who can score, defend, create and help you win games. He's versatile, physical, aggressive and ready to attack in the big moments. This kid has been flying under the radar for a while and now he's ready to show NYC he's capable of being the guy. His coaches believe in him, the team trusts him, the entire community is behind him and he won't let them down.

Babalola is another deep sleeper that you would only know if you were a serious NYC basketball head. He's a strong kid that always plays hard, he gets after every loose ball and consistently creates problems on the defensive end. His motor is serious, he's excellent in transition, he gets a lot of stops and should be a double double candidate every night. Keep an eye on him.
