Washington was solid as a Sophomore but last year really took his game to the next level. This season the gloves are off, he should lead the Brooklyn/Staten Island II in scoring and be one of the most dangerous guards in the entire PSAL. The scouts would like to see him embrace a little more of a facilitator role at times to pair with the scoring but his defense as well as his constant hustle makes up for that. He checks off a lot of boxes, he loves to compete, he’s coachable and still ascending as a prospect.

He knocked down a catch-and-shoot three from the right wing with a high release and connected on an and-one bank three. He used his defensive instincts to jump the passing lane and his speed to finish on the other end. He was able to create space off the dribble to get into his shot. He executed the pick-and-roll well with Faulkner and grabbed an offensive rebound. He used dribble penetration to draw defenses and kick to the open man.
