3:15 PM - Our Savior Lutheran (NY) vs Stony Brook (NY)

What to Watch For: A pair of potential individual matchups between 2028 forwards [player_tooltip player_id='2780659' first='Josue' last='Manya'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3219923' first='Jordan' last='Ajene'], and then 2030 guards JJ Smith and [player_tooltip player_id='3665443' first='Cameron' last='Gray'], highlight what should be an entertaining battle between the rising Long Island power and and Bronx Grind Session mainstay. Ajene is new to the area, and while he will have a height advantage, Manya is as physical as they come. When it comes to the freshmen, it will be a battle of two of the more battle tested players in the class locally. Smith has been a middle school circuit standout over the last two years, helping lead Lightning to title contention all year long. The athletic guard will likely best tasked with guarding Cam Gray- who played significant varsity minutes last season and has come out on fire to start the fall showcase season. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

4:30 PM - Holy Cross (NY) vs St. James (VA)

What to Watch For: There is plenty of scholarship talent on both sides in this one- which could shape up to be one of the top games of the weekend. They likely don't go head-to-head, But Isaiah Carter and [player_tooltip player_id='2780688' first='Payton' last='Wilson'] are two of the premier players at their respective positions nationally. Keep an eye on both Jacoby Briscoe and [player_tooltip player_id='3569749' first='Ashton' last='Pierre-Charles'], both of which could flip this game with a well timed scoring outburst.

5:45 PM - John Bowne (NY) vs South Bronx Prep (NY)

What to Watch For: Senior wing Devin Harris is coming off a recent offer from Queens College. The 6-foot-4+ swingman has considerable potential and seemingly continues to get better. Against 2A contender South Bronx Prep- Harris will have a chance to make an early statement on how his senior year should shake out. QC is legitimately 1000 feet from John Bowne, so beating out the hometown program could be tough- but coaches should get eyes on him this fall and winter. Should he decide to post-grad, he'd be an intriguing name as a 2028.

7:00 PM - Xaverian (NY) vs Uniondale (NY)

What to Watch For: It will be on [player_tooltip player_id='2351298' first='David' last='Duncan'], [player_tooltip player_id='3703716' first='Ned' last='Williams Law'], and Terrance Belizaire to hold off the Uniondale trio of [player_tooltip player_id='3580553' first='Liam' last='Sheard'], [player_tooltip player_id='3780128' first='Jayden' last='Barrows'], and [player_tooltip player_id='3681740' first='Jayden' last='Oden']. In other words, expect a ton of action around the rim. Duncan is best equipped to guard Sheard, and the two play a simliar bruising and relentless style. Williams Law and Barrows are a pair of high upside forwards who continue to look like their best basketball lays well ahead of them while also making steady improvements through the Spring and Summer. Finally, Belizaire and Oden are two athletic slashing wings that play bigger than they are, but can also put the ball on the floor. Translation- the final game should be a good one.
