The Clippers actually have a trio of double-figure scorers returning, but the dynamic guard tandem of Boeset and Meskimen are going to be what makes them go this winter. Boeset is one of the better isolation scoring threats in 3A basketball, capable of breaking down a defender and getting to whatever spot he wants on the floor, while Meskimen is a shifty guard who is a streaky but dangerous shooter from distance. These two combined to put up 33.3 points per game last season and could push that close to 40 a night this year.

The Vander Schaaf boys lead a Warriors team that could be among the best teams in 3A this winter. Both are dynamic shooting threats who can bury shots from anywhere, and with both of them capable of playing on or off the ball, they complement each other well. Kylen averaged 18.4 points and 5.1 assists per game while posting impressive 51-44-80 splits, and Ajay put up 11.9 points and 2.9 assists last season. SB-L is loaded, with a really, really strong 2029 class joining the Vander Schaaf boys.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419714' first='Evan' last='Abbott'] & 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419750' first='Parker' last='Miller'] (Ballard)

The Bombers won the 3A title last season and with Abbott and Miller returning, they'll be one of the favorites to win it again this year. This tandem combined to average 30.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 4.6 steals per game last season, and then were both outstanding for a [program_tooltip program_id='2075605' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] EYCL that qualified for Peach Jam over the summer. Abbott is one of the best pure scorers in the state, regardless of class, using his strong frame on the wing to bully smaller players, and Miller is a highly athletic, long combo forward who has drastically improved over the last 18 months.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2530471' first='Tate' last='McCollum'] & 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2906433' first='Maddox' last='Kelley'] (Solon)

These two guards have games that really complement each other, and it's part of what makes Solon so dangerous. The Spartans will enter the year as one of the top five teams in the class, in large part because of these two dynamic guards. McCollum is an electric shooter who can bury shots from anywhere on the floor off either the dribble or the catch. He's tough as nails (don't let his slight frame fool you), he's not going to back down from anyone. He's the flashy player of the tandem, while Kelley is the physical guard who loves to play downhill and attack the bucket while also being a menace on the defensive end. He stuffed the stat sheet to the tune of 10.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 4.0 steals per game last season, while McCollum put up nearly 19 points a game and made over 100 3-pointers.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2370429' first='Peter' last='Wedewer'] & 2029 [player_tooltip player_id='2881215' first='Alexander' last='Tanny'] (Wahlert Catholic)

The most traditional duo on this list, Wedewer is a true lead guard who can score or facilitate at a high level, while Tanny is a dominant interior scoring threat with great size and a big, physical frame. Wedewer, coming off a junior year in which he averaged 14.5 points and 4.2 assists on 44-44-77 shooting, is one of the most underrated guards in the state. He's a two-way guard who defends on the ball at a high level, can knock down shots at a high clip off the dribble and the catch, and he's a really good passer and playmaker. Tanny has battled injuries early in his career, but when he's on the floor, he's dominant. A 6-8 big man with great hands, fantastic footwork, and good touch around the bucket, he put up 13.1 points and 6.1 rebounds on 52% shooting as a freshman.
