Border League C Standouts viewed

October 1-3 I attended the annual Border League. It is quickly becoming one of the premier fall events not only on the West Coast but in the country. The amount of elite players that were a part of the event was off the charts. And of course college coaches follow all the talent with them taking in the action nearly wall to wall standing room only games on some courts.
Here were the top C's who shined when I viewed them
[player_tooltip player_id='3241080' first='Hassan' last='Abdulkadir'] Bella Vista Prep EYBL A tall, long and fluid post player seems to get better with every showing. He loves the pick and roll finishes with either hand, high level dunks, hook shots and even threes off the catch. He truly rolls perfectly to the basket with soft hands and great dexterity and agility. He gobbles up all board and blocks shots. [player_tooltip player_id='2197693' first='Chris' last='Brown'] Dream City Christian EYBL An undersized post player with a massive wingspan and big time athleticism. He is one of the top rebounders in the class locally and the West Coast. He smartly keeps the ball high and will score with quick dunks, drop steps, hook shots and left or right hand rip thrus. [player_tooltip player_id='1595014' first='Adrien' last='Isaac Porras'] JKP Academy Prep (Pictured) The big man held his own versus a 5-star big in one of the games I viewed. He has a nice feathery touch from mid-range and will fall away from his defenders. He dunks it easily and there are not many better post players that run the floor than him. He is also a phenomenal passer and shot blocker. [player_tooltip player_id='2295693' first='Maddox' last='Lazor'] Basha A sturdy framed post player who is a rebounding machine. He uses his size, long arms and toughness to box out and corral the ball. He will also score it with drop steps into a bucket, layups, mid-range jumpers, dunks and will block shots at a good clip. [player_tooltip player_id='2693801' first='Dane' last='Montague'] Perry The biggest junior in the state has a massive frame with next level size and some mobility. He sets huge big picks and will box out and rebound just as good as anyone in the class with his sheer size and walls up well making it hard to not score on him. He scores it mostly with layups and dunks. [player_tooltip player_id='1580233' first='Paul' last='Osaruyi'] Bella Vista Prep EYBL One of the top post players in the class and arguably the most athletic as his recent combine numbers were literally better then many current NBA players. He is a big time shot blocker leaping up and altering shots with his seven-foot three wingspan. He scores with put backs and can face-up to the three. [player_tooltip player_id='1555179' first='Darius' last='Wabbington'] Sunnyslope A rare point center or power forward type is really physical inside. He just always seems to make the correct read over and over. He scores it every way with fall aways, pull-ups from mid-range and catch and shoot or off the dribble threes. He also is talking more and more as a true vocal leader and the Indiana commit put on a show all weekend long.
