He can be very difficult for defenders to stay in front of thanks to his pace and tight handle. Already confident and skilled enough, he's primed to be Fern Creek's go to facilitator and scoring threat this winter. Looking ahead to his sophomore campaign, he could find himself holding the keys to Manual's offense due to graduation and unexpected transfer movement. I love Eli's off-ball game as a scoring threat from the wing – a role that he thrived in this past summer with 502 Elite. He has the IQ, ball handling, and playmaking abilities to become a scholarship level player when his time comes. He was one of just two freshmen to make St.X's state finalist roster last season. He's coming off of a solid summer during which he competed on the EYBL and 3SSB circuits and in the Louisville Dirt Bowl men's league. Despite his smaller stature, he's one of the most effective defenders at his position in KY in my opinion. He'll be looking to become a more dominant scoring threat during his sophomore campaign, so hopefully we see a preview of that goal tomorrow at the Kentucky Expo.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
