The Kentucky Expo Guard Watchlist

As one of the best shooters in the state regardless of class, he's shot over 40% from 3pt range for the past two seasons and is expected to continue doing so. Although still hunting his first D1 offer, several programs have already expressed interest. He excels in isolation situations when he's able to shift the defense off the dribble and get near the rim. Though he has a smaller stature, his athleticism is evolving and we could see another layer of his game unlock soon. He'll likely be one of the loudest guys in the gym, using his leadership skills and IQ to contribute to winning. He's a lengthy guard that can operate with patience as a facilitator and defend his position at a high level. After transferring from Male to Butler this past June, he could be on the horizon of a breakout junior campaign this coming season. He had a great month of June scholastic hoops, showcasing his confidence operating as a lead decisionmaker. I'm excited to see his mindset as a facilitator in a camp setting that'll likely foster a "score-first" mentality.
