The Expo Showcase will take place this Sunday and each year there are several prospects who help boost their stock heading into the high school season. It's a great opportunity for some to improve their current rankings or put their names on the radar for the next update in their respective class. Yesterday, we highlighted some 2027 prospect who have a point to prove at this year's event and now we shift to the 2028s set to attend who will look to boost their stock.

The best thing about these events is it provides a stage for under the radar prospects to showcase their skills, so by next week a list like this is sure to be much longer!

Rogers is another prospect I'm looking forward to getting a live evaluation on after a summer with TTO National. The 5-foot-11 lead guard has range well beyond the three-point line and the confidence to take over a game in just a few possessions. This environment will suit his strengths as a guy with end-to-end speed, ability to space the floor both off the catch or off the bounce and Rogers will have plenty of room to operate in iso's or ball screens and prove his processing skills as a passer.

Graham is a prospect that is picking up steam heading into the 2026-27 season as one of the better players in the MIAA B Conference. The junior guard brings a nice blend of scoring, athleticism and toughness. In the up-and-down pace that this event usually turns into, it'll be a chance for Graham to show off his athleticism above the rim when he has a clear path for takeoff, his ability to absorb contact on drives and a chance that he can lift up those around him. Graham has shown his worth as a scorer for both his HS team and his grassroots team, but to take his game to the next level, making others around him better will be a key step in the right direction.

Another prospect who should benefit off the tempo these events usually bring is Washington. A point guard with solid IQ and ability to read the floor thoroughly in transition, I expect him to be a guy that others are glad to play alongside. He can put the ball in the bucket when needed whether his opportunities come in catch-and-shoot form from the perimeter or straight-line drives using his quick first step to get to the cup for scoop layups.

It's also a chance for Washington to show his worth defensively. As we've seen in the past, he can be a pest on the ball with active hands and quick feet.

Wilson stood out to me watching specifically in Magruder's loss in the state title game last winter. The 5-foot-7 guard plays on and off the ball for Magruder, but should take on a more involved role alongside his backcourt mate Zeke Dabbondonza. Not only will he be expected to make an impact with his individual defense, but also answer the call as a scorer as opposing teams will scheme to contain Dabbondonza. Getting an updated evaluation will help us set the expectations for the 2026-27 season as Magruder looks to avenge their Class 3A state title loss.
