Merrick got on our radars to finish off the year last year for Arapahoe as their go-to option and a player who could have some big nights, but we saw him few times this Summer and he looks poised for an even bigger role and I bet he has a better overall season. Franks has a solid frame and looks to attack now and Arapahoe runs their offense through him right now. He rises over the top for mid range shots, he creatively finishes around the basket and is a microwave scorer. Now it's about having those big scoring games on a more consistent basis and also taking all of the attention that defenses give him into scoring opportunities for himself or teammates. I believe he'll make a leap from what we seen and now it's about taking that into the season and showing it as well. Merrick will go into our rankings this week in the Top-100 with room to grow even higher.

Liam is a player who caught our attention over the Summer and I really liked what I saw from him because I know that it could translate and I do think he will be fighting for some rotation minutes from what he brings to the table. For grassroots, Liam was a sniper for deep who showed that he could play alongside other solid players and separate himself. He also was a big piece for the Magic where he used that outside shooting to space the floor and make plays for others as well. His movement without the ball, ability to come off of screens shot ready and getting out of his hands and making the right play has him making his rankings debut within the Top-100 and we want to see if he can rise with his play.

Liam was a player that we saw play a ton over the the Summer at our events so it is easy to see the maturation process and how his game elevated. He was not only the teams emotional leader but turned into a steady scorer and reliable all-around prospect for Grit as well. We hope that he takes that mindset and play into the new year where he could take an even bigger step. Liam played combo guard and when he had the ball, made the right decisions and was a playmaker. He has solid size, didnt shy away from contact and scored in bunches. Liam also had some moments on the other end of the floor as well and will be called upon for a much bigger role for Doherty this year. He will be making his ranking debut and landing in the Top 100 when those release this year.

Simpson had some moments over the Summer where he really turned it up a notch. Simpson was a force for Morgan Dawgs as a true PG who the team rallied behind. He went on scoring runs by himself, pushed the pace, attacked in every game and challenged other guards. He's a very underrated passer who takes chances on the floor and if he keyed in on the passing prowess I feel as if he would be even more dangerous. We saw Grant lead Morgan Dawgs to plenty of wins on our circuit, take that play out of state and do the same and he also came out to our Expo last week and showed that he could compete and standout with some of the top guards in the state. Grant is a floor general who Riverdale Ridge will look to lead the way for them the year and he should have a positive season where he turns heads. His play as of late is why he will be in the Top-100 in the rankings. I am sure he wants to rise and he'll get a chance to. He's making his debut this week.

Tanner is a under the radar prospect who not many know about due to him going to a small school, but he made it a point to get out and compete for Elevation over the Summer and he made his impact of them. Tanner has a solid frame and used his length and athleticism to get to where he wanted on the floor. He carved out space on the block, moved guys around and powered through them and had a few scoring runs that showed that he's a very capable scorer no matter who he's up against. I like the tenacity of which he plays with as he really did make his mark when we saw him over the Summer and we hope to see more of him moving forward. We certainly expect some big time scoring and rebounding numbers for Platte Canyon this year.

Parker got his feet wet on varsity a year ago and showed that he could be a player who could be a glue guy moving forward for Timnath. They may even need him to be more this year as they become the team everyone is gunning for. This Summer he showed that he could step into that role if needed. Parker played well for NoCo Elite as a do-it-all combo-guard who pushes the pace when its needed, controls pace, can play on and off ball and doesnt have to have the ball to be effective. He's a high IQ player who found ways to score with ease. He's still under the radar but can certainly rise with a big start to the year and is making his debut in the rankings off of what we saw. We want to see more.
